10U: Competition vs Sanction

Gary Haning's Premier Fastpitch tournaments got me to thinking. What draws 10U teams to play in ASA Nats instead of PCB? What if all the best CA 10U teams went to PCB? Nothing against Chattanooga, but if we take 1 vacation a year I would rather go to the beach, and most of our kids feel the same (at least when Dad aint around). Why not try and get the Big Name CA teams to come on down to FL? Mr Haning wants to get the older divisions off the ASA teat, would he feel the same with his younger teams? I say its the competition that makes the trophy worthwhile.
As it is, we are planning on going to TN but I am positive it would/could change.
