My daughter played with them this past year - and will be on the team again this coming year.

Sudden Impact 18G out of Collins park or Spring HS

Julie Wyrick Coaching, she is also Head SB Coach at Spring HS. (Spring went deep into the HS SB 5A playoffs this year).

As an outsider looking in, Miss Wyrick did well with her 12, 14 and 16U Impact Tanel teams, then she had an Mc Elite team for 1 season and now moved to Sudden Impact 18G.

It seems Sudden Impact has some Athletes but lacks the pitching to put them over the top. You could same the same thing about the majority of the teams in town.

It seems that the various Gold programs are busy empire building, programs like the Hawks, Texas Lite, Sudden Impact to name the ones I'm aware of who have or are rumored to add 12,14,16u programs this fall.

We tried out for the Bellaire team and I was told yesterday that they are going to be under the Sudden Impact Gold family of teams. I also heard this of the former '96 Peppers. I was just wondering how many 14u teams does an organization usually field and if anyone can speak to what the Sudden Impact Gold organization is all about?

Sudden Impact Gold is not associated with any other team out of Collins Park - or ANY other park - for that matter.

S.I.G. is a 'stand alone' team.
