Pool C - SK Velocity
Pool D - Austin Storm
Pool E - Batbusters
Pool F - Bombers

Look for Pool F winner to get a Bye

Toughest Pool
Pool B......just barely over Pool C. 5 Solid teams
Pool C.....very tough too, just a hair off
Pool A......close to D, but worse team in pool is better than D's worse
Pool D......4 solid clubs....w/ a weak one
Pool F......Pretty much open, but look for home town help here
Pool E.......Montoya is so much better than the rest.....in their pool

Pool A cake walk for Crazy 8s, very weak pool
Pool B TPS or Blaze could go either way, no one else is close
Pool C SK Velocity, AF will play good but not good enough, same with Cobras
Pool D TX Elite, may see some good games from Elite Alice if they have all their players, TX Jets can play but not enough depth, Austin Storm will not be a factor,
Pool E cake walk for BB Montoya no else comes close
Pool F 95 Bombers easily Flamethrowers are not what they once were, all others will be no factor, very weak pool


Look for some very good games from the pool winners. Bombers beat TX Elite and TPS last year in the shootout. Blaze beat bombers recently in Seguin. Crazy 8's have a tough team. SK Velocity has beat Bombers, Blaze and Elite. BB montoya should win it all but anything can happen in a single E tournament.

Does anyone know how the seeding will work. Are the pool winners seeded to later games on Sunday? VTD says 5 game guarantee.

I love how much talk has been done regarding this tournament, although most has been in the younger age groups of course. I can't wait to get out of Houston and watch the girls play some other teams. Apparently there are some really good teams in other parts of the state away from DFW and H-town, that will be nice to see.

But Greg, it's so much more fun to hear what people are thinking before the games so that afterwards when they're proven incorrect you can blast them and listen to them make all kinds of excuses.
Seriously though I haven't even heard of most of these teams so I wanted to hear what people thought of them before hand. Kind of like scouting but not really close DD's team has only played a handful of these teams in the past year so I have no clue how it's going to turn our, should be an interesting weekend though, can't wait.
