Trying to help a friend

[papabearo]

Hi folks, Just wondering what travel teams are in the Sugarland Area? I'm from So Cal and have a friend that moved into the area not long ago. He was a coach here for years. He coached both high school and travel. He won a championship in high school and his teams always did quite well.He took a few teams to 18 Gold nationals and has coached in all levels of travel and rec ball. He said he is going to coach a parish high school team but would like to get back into travel. I think he said he contacted a rec league to see if they needed help. Just wanted to help him get back into coaching because he's a good one in my opinion. Thanks

Is he looking for a team for his daughter? Does he want to coach? What age group?

He wants to coach. His little one isn't old enough to play. (2 year old) As far as age group ,I don't know. He has coached all levels. I was trying to get him some teams to watch or contact when he's ready. He just moved into his house so he is getting settled.

Do you think he may be interested in coaching an 8th grade team at a Catholic School? The season is relatively short March - mid May. If so, have him contact me through my inbox. I would also be happy to discuss different travel ball teams. We are also looking for a coach for our 14U travel team.

Thanks I'll give him a call today and have him contact you.
