Where were all the coaches?

Another weekend without college coaches at Plano Showcase. Maybe 20 total, including JUCOS and Div. IIIs. In the past, this tournament would draw 50-100 college coaches. Where are all the college coaches recruiting? Who did you see?

I would say we had 25-30 schools stop and watch us play this weekend. We played at GN, Heritage, and Arch Gate. Would not surprise me if they went to a certain park and just stayed instead of driving several miles to different ones. Heck I bet it takes almost an hour to get to Wilson from Arch Gate.

There was a tournament in HB this weekend that might have drawn a few.

Before Nat's, I honestly overheard the Mich coach (Hutchins) asking another MidWest coach (maybe Northwestern??) if she brought her surfboard, as she was out early that morning.

I saw Tulsa, Illinois, and UTA coaches. Almost certain Angelo State wasn't there this weekend because overheard some coaches talking about it. Definitely not many schools compared to last year. If one team had 30 college coaches, they must have had every one in town. Good job!

Anyone have the list of coaches at Southlake and North Richland Hills this weekend. Seemed like Southlake drew okay. Hopefully, we'll get them out at Ronald McDonald this weekend.

Wonder what everyone's thoughts are on the Diamond Elite All American Showcase this weekend in Plano? Games ran on time, fields where in good shape, but these were only coaches we saw walking around the parks. Had to have been more than this? If you saw others, please add to this list.

We flew to Phoenix for the Arizona FroShow Showcase. Over 40 colleges signed in at the registers tent for that event.
