I'll stay put. Boring sounds kind of nice for a while.

I stop by a few times a month and it is like watching paint dry around here. I haven't seen any useful Heybucket information since the college coaches contact list were being bantered about. I could care less about the drama posters. I would love to see more first hand info regarding the ins and outs of recruitment and college ball. My two cents now tee off.

Personally I prefer some disagreement and if it gets heated I don't consider it any more serious than what goes on at an elementary school playground. In fact I would guess that there are far more physical altercations on the playground than in here. If people are afraid of being bashed on the internet for their opinions then don't participate and/or go elsewhere. I've been disagreed with plenty of times over the years. I don't recall feeling hurt any of those times. I have zero interest in touchy feely sites. Ten years ago an analagous situation occurred on soccer boards. I went on the new "everyone has to play nice" board. I rapidly tired of it and apparently most others did as well as those boards went away or had a handfull of loyal posters who continually congratulated each other on their team's wonderful successes. Whoo Hooo. This reminds me of the hysteria these days over bullying. I experienced bullying when I was a kid. I survived. I sure as Hell prefer being bullied a bit as a kid to being an adult whose inexperience with negative social interactions precludes participation on a harmless internet message board.

Notice: From now on, if anyone calls me names, I WILL tell Mom.

Oh So Stoic Squirrel
10 years from now I'll wish I felt like I do these days.

It's boring because we got rid of Joe and Fred. They were the ones everyone loved to hate...
