You left off Texas Rebels.

How did Austin Storm qualify?

I heard the Rebels got stronger with their options of pickup players. Heard they picked up a couple strong bats and a couple strong pitchers. They were already a VERY good team before these acquisitions. I look for this team to show well in College Station. JMH. Be safe and I wish everyone the best of luck.

Group 1 (Order depends on who is clicking at the time)
- Glory Naudin (strong team)
- Storm Elite (strong team, qualified early)
- Texas Peppers (reformed with all older girls, strong team)
- SC Mean Green
- TFS (Montoya) (hit the ball well will pitching hold up)
- Texas Rebels (heard they picked up the 2 Tx High Voltage pitchers who can also hit)
- Bombers (good team speed, depends on pitching)
- Glory Atkins (seems like it might be their turn. Strong team with bad breaks at the tourny's)

Group 2 (Most likely get knocked out early)
- TPS (too young, decent team but got all the breaks)
- Texas Fury
- Fusion
- Blaze
- Sting
- Blaze R
- ST Elite
- Bad Attitude (how did they qualify)
- Austin Storm (how did they qualify)
- Kaos (how did they qualify)
- Texas Starz ???

Hey "slamtheball", please explain the "breaks" that TPS got...? They won the HOF qualifier in Temple by winning against all top 10 teams in the tournament. They placed in the top ten in both Fort Worth qualifiers (played on Sunday), and got second to the Peppers at Houston Metro. Then they tied for third at the HOF in OK City. They are "young", but if all that performance was "breaks", then they must be lucky too... Oh by the way, they beat Storm Elite this weekend 1-0 at the Louisville Slugger. I would expect Storm Elite to make some noise in College Station. Who knows about TPS... they could get lucky and get some "breaks" in College Station....

I would agree with "fastpitchfan" in his top six, and I would put Texas Rebels in that group with the pick up players.

Fact is, 16U was very competitive this year, and all of the TX teams have the ability to do well.

I will give you my ranking after the draw... then I will look like a genius! It's all about the draw and momentum. We've all been there before, haven't we?

Okay, okay, I'll make one prediction.... Glory Naudin will be the top Texas finisher.

I'd have to agree with outsidethefence on TPS. At the start of the season (Temple), I thought maybe they caught a good break on the draw but as the season went on and they were beating teams by at least 6 runs in almost every game they played (and they beat us in the one game we played them) that idea was blown out of the water. They are a VERY good team and shouldn't be overlooked by anyone, great group of coaches, players and parents too, very classy group. 16U was very competitive this year and when the Peppers jumpred back in, that made it even more interesting.
I hope we get several TX teams in the top 10 this year and I think several have that chance.

SlamtheBall

Mean Green lost to some pretty weak teams at State.

Have the Bombers White played in any tourneys this summer? Are you talking Chuck's team or Scott's team when you say they are fast?

Glory Atkins, not proven.

Top 50

Glory Naudin
Rage
Maybe Storm Elite

Predict very few others. Slamtheball, were you at Colorado Boulder or Fireworks?
