VTD World Series and Open Nationals

by Back Back Back » Sun Jul 18, 2010 1:09 pm

Any predictions for the upcoming VTD World Series and Open Nationals? Who will win in each age group? With this being the inaugural event will it set the stage for more growth for VTD and a bigger event next year or will it be a bust and and send VTD into a decline? Jump in, the waters deep!

WTF is it about these gate fees It will cost me over 100 bucks to watch my kid play.. That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. In addition there is a gift exchange between teams that is costing another 20 bucks per kid and then there are the questions about coolers. This is just stupid. I have never been to a big tornament that charged this kind of money. Is this about softball and the kids or someone lining pockets. Who do you think pays the money for the entry fee of 400 it is the same parents you want to charge again to watch their dg play.
Someone is taking lessons from Big Government and from the IRS Nothing like being taxed and surcharged to death. As far as I am concerned we do not have to go. I can drop my dg off and watch from the parking lot. It will be cooler in the car anyway.

Nice comment Joe, you bash ASA but now your boyfriends are using them for their standards.

Joe and VTD are hypocrites

Here is the deal. All Nationals has gate fees. BUT I don't ever remember having to pay for kids under 6. VTD is charging for 4 and up ASA is charging for 6 and Up. I don't understand why ANY ASSOCIATION needs to charge a gate fee for kids that young. I don't like that ASA charges for 6 and up either!!! Doesn't make sense to me.

But I though VTD was about change and doing things different. Sounds like more of the same to me. I don't have a problem with the fees so much as the Chest Beating about how VTD was going to be so different than ASA. Not seeing much difference here.
Wasn't something said earlier about it being all about the Money oh I'm sorry I mean the girls?

Is this more to your liking Oh mighty one. I would hate for you to get your brother involved. It might strain his brain more than it already is!
