Team Mizuno Public Service Announcement -- "Just Business"??

by KimJongIl » Tue Jul 13, 2010 7:15 am

This is a public service announcement to Team Mizuno:

I and my DD used to be part of your organization, but were unceremoniously jettisoned from the foal in what can only have been described as a behind the scenes and dishonest masquerade of doing what was best for Team Mizuno 98. It took us time to get over it and we have moved on, but still have some friends left with that organization.

Well, now here it goes again. The Team Mizuno organization had just posted that tryouts are coming soon on the other website which may have many players and their families interested.

Be warned! As that post was being made Team Mizuno 98 was conducting a private practice with a new player from a recently disbanded team. Team Mizuno 98 currently carries 13 and now make it 14 players. Keep in mind that this is a team also getting ready for nationals. Just seems to come at a bad time. Is this "just the way it is in the business" or does anyone else feel that the "shrouded in secrecy backdoor dealing" is a bit unethical.

I can only think that this will have many players and their parents waiting for the tap on the shoulder as my DD and I received -- oh yeah, that was a phone call as the coaches couldn't look me in the eye, man to man.

To my friends that remain, my thoughts are with you. To those that are considering any Team Mizuno, you may be in for a surprise as to how this "family" takes care of its own. Also, ask the current parents what the great Mizuno name has done for them as far as dues and the such.

Do the right thing, Team Mizuno -- full disclosure and transparency!

In closing, I know there are those out there that will challenge me, but the truth cannot be denied as word is now spreading quickly and shall keep one free. If I have mis-stated any of the facts in this thread, may the lord strike me down!

The spirit, the will to win, and the will to excel are the things that endure.
These qualities are so much more important than the events that occur.

Posts: 20 How to cut a coach and his DD?
I have a coach who doesn't bring too much to the table but does have that "good guy factor", his DD is by far the weakest player on the team. It is clear what has to take place in the near future, any thoughts on how I go about this? To me this is different than just cutting another player because he does help in several other capacities. I have seen that look on my daughters face for the last time, I just need some advice how to do this as amicably as possible.
