i thought sting was a 14u team.

Sting Blue has played 16u all season (or at least since after HS season). From what I heard, they had some girls from their previous gold team drop back down to combined with the 14U team. They played well in the 16u qualifiers and just missed out on qualifying for ASA nationals.

you are correct. Started season in 14u and now in 16u with adding kids from the 18u team, but they didn't play in this tourny it was just the 14's there.

how do you guys have enough 14u players to even have a team. spoke to one of your recent defectors today and he said they were something like the 9th or 10th player to leave this year. i guess since they had 20 players on there initial roster that would make 10 players left

Yes, IFA picks only the FINEST locations for their venues; Mustang, Oklahoma for 12 and 14U, Joplin, Missouri for 16 and 18U, and Beaumont for their "Elite" 43 foot tourney. Makes me feel silly for going all the way to Colorado to suffer their terrible weather and dull scenery.
