If you are talking about the Storm Showcase I can tell you it was a long weekend. The Storm did the best they could and the fields were somewhat playable. In the end this tournament should have been canceled. Schedule was pushed around a whole lot (Due to rain and wet field) very few coaches attended. Like I said the Storm and Huber Ranch did the best they could. I hope everyone made it home from Seguin safe and healthy. Good luck this HS season

Who was playing in this showcase? Did any college coaches show up?

They had mostly local teams, Stix, Blaze, Hitt, Platinum, with a couple of teams from Houston and Dallas mixed in. From what I saw they had some commitments from some local coaches, Texas State, UTSA, TLU, Incarnate Word, St. Edwards and a few others. I saw 1 or 2 there, but when the weather turned bad on Saturday I think most coaches bailed.

Wasnt there this year, but last year when it was in Austin, coaches from at least 10 schools were around including Auburn and Texas Tech. I wondered if moving it 75 minutes from the airport would affect coaches, especially in bad weather. IMO, if the fields are wet the risk of an injury is too great to play when there are no coaches.
