14u Tryouts

According to eteamz, a lot of teams were supposed to have try outs this weekend. Did the weather stop the try outs or were the die hards out there? If try outs happened, how did they go? Any surprise turn outs or stud players looking for greener pastures??

The Tx Hawks did hold day 1 of tryouts on saturday.The weather was not bad with full sun 40ish temp and little to no wind.Had a good turn out with 17 girls and loads of talent,could have put a good team together with just those.We are expecting close to the same amount of girls on day 2 of tryouts which is today at 1:00pm.As far as high end players go we had maybe 5 or 6.We should have a strong team,the rest will be up to the coaching staff.

Do you not have to tryout somehwere and if you do, how did they go where you tried out??

No Mark, we did't have a tryout this weekend. My dd is staying with her team and not making any moves. Just trying to see what was happening. Heybucket is my main source of info.

And what team would that be Wonder Woman?? Just curious as to why you are so curious if your dd is staying put. Anybody know of a pitcher looking for a home, please have them come to our tryout this Tuesday at 7:30.
