Maybe the 3 on top. But come on, Freedom(wicked) what have they done since moving to "A" to be even considered on the list. Same goes with Fusion 16U since they moved all there good kids to Gold....

I think the question was who are the top 16u teams in 2010 DFW. If you define "top" by winning and getting their players seen, then I say the following:

Texas Glory (Naudin)
Texas Glory (Hart)
Texas Glory (Adkins)
Texas Elite (Mongillo)
TFS (Montoya)
DBAT (Mulvaney)
American Freedom (Rinehart)
American Freedom (McClaskey)
Texas Fusion
Intimidators (Nordie)
and
American Liberty Kruzers and Texas Elite (Floyd) (if they play 16u)

These are the only 16u teams that matter in DFW. They win, play the right tournaments, and get their players seen by college coaches.

How many of these teams are going to play in the PGF qualifier June 3rd in Houston?

Texas Glory Naudin has been invited, correct?

Sounds like these are all the big names organizations in NTX. Why not say all
Fusion Teams
Elite Teams
Freedom Teams
Glory Teams....
Honestly, I think if you look at this list. There are only a couple of teams worth mentioning.
Glory(naudin)
TFS(montoya)
Glory(hart)
&
Kruzers.
The rest, Don't think so....

Got to like the two Texas Storm teams in Houston. Also the Bombers Black. Hawks look to be tough too. HitAway and Power should be in the mix too.

Just so everyone knows, D-F-W is short for "Dallas/Ft. Worth"

I believe this will be a very competitive class, (assuming teams stay intact and don't defect to Gold) with everyone wanting to play in College Station. Most of these teams I saw play this fall.

My evaluations, in no particular order;

*Elite (Floyd)- Lefty pitcher who can dominate when she's right. Good team speed with above average bats. 2nd pitcher is a question and could cause problems if they find themselves in the loser bracket of big tournaments.

*Glory Naudin- Best team in 16U in DFW. They hit, pitch and play sound defense. How many of last years team will be playing for Shelton remains the only question of interest.

*Glory Adkins- Very talented group with some big bats. Great team speed at the top of this order presents lots of problems for opposing defenses. Can pitch with anyone and should easily find their way to Nationals.

*Kruzers- This team was exciting to watch when I had the chance. They can flat out run and their pitching is top notch.

*Elite (Mongillo)- This team is full of power and can score with anyone. Defense seems to be above average with pitching that is very good. They could proove to be the team to battle the Glory's for best in DFW.

*Fusion- Didn't see much out of the 14U team moving up. Understand the 16U lost several girls to Gold including McDuffie who moved to Houston. Slade's organization always reloads well and should put another quality team on the field.

*Glory Hart- Young and agressive. If pitching stays consistent and healthy they will be a team nobody wants to play.

*TFS (Montoya)- If he could keep his players from leaving for Glory he might have the best group in all of Texas. That being said, that hasn't happened as of late and I believe this team may struggle this year. BatBusters Organization always helped with the recruiting of players in the past, not sure same can be said for their new home.

*AF McClaskey- This team is raw and young. Has an impressive lefty pitcher but I believe she is being looked at with the older groups. If she is playing, they will beat some of the teams listed above but in the long run that youth may be to much to overcome this year.

*AF Rhinehart- Did not see this team much this past year but when I did was not overly impressed.

*Intimidators Nordie- (see AF Rhinehart).

College Station Bound- Glory Hart, Glory Naudin, Glory Adkins, Elite Mongillo for sure with the others battling it out. Most of this will depend on whether they go Metro or State.

Just my thoughts. Good luck to all of them.
