The Aces started play at 9:00 on Sunday and did not stop playing until 9:30 Sun. night. The games I saw were impressive and fun to watch. They beat some good teams and double dipped the team left in the winners bracket. Says enough for me. Did not get to see that one ;)

With all this trash talking going on, GM Flash what team from Houston does your daughter play on? Mine doesnt play much anymore, why do you dog the Knockouts. I know they used to be good long time ago, but................... were you just mad about the bracket or whats up?

I'm pretty sure that Grand master was hoping after the Aces first loss they would not qualify. Teams in the Houston area know how good the Aces are and they proved it by working back through the loser's bracket to win State. Congrats to the Aces and Thunder for qualifing from the Houston area. Houston Area teams qualified to Nationals in IL.

1. Aces
2. Bandits
3. Fury
4. Peppers
5. Red Hots
6. Thunder

Two more to come after this weekend in Metro's in La Porte.

IF it would be financially feasable, it would be great to have a tournament here in Texas before the ASA Nationals with all the qualified teams entered to really find out who is the best team at this point. Could be the Aces, Diamonds, Bandits, Thunder, Peppers, ect.... That would give a true State Champion.
