Bowie defeats New Braunfels Canyon 7-3 and wins the Dripping Springs Tournament. Tight game early - some hit batters cost NB on the bases.

It's true that Bowie beat NBC, but the game was tighter than the score reflects. Also, don't know where 93 Players gets his mis-information (he/she certainly wasn't there), but hit batters didn't "cost NB on the bases"--whatever that means. NBC pitcher hit the same Bowie batter twice. The first time the ump said the batter leaned into the pitch, didn't award 1B, and the batter grounded out. So there was only 1 HBP, and it certainly didn't cost NBC the game. Otherwise, it was a great game, played by 2 solid teams.

My use of the word "cost" NBC was not related to the hit batter coming in and scoring. It meant the hit batter felt disrespected and got key hits that defeated NBC. Check your scorebook.

Huh? How does a scorebook reflect a player feeling disrespected or a pitcher disrespecting a batter? The pitcher simply pitched the batter hard inside and got a piece of the batter. Neither time that the batter got hit was anybody on base. It was simply a pitch that got away. Don't pretend like you were there--you weren't. I was there and don't need a scorebook to know what happened. It's just ol 93 Players trying to stir things up again when you don't know what the heck you're talking about. You're always complaining about dirty tricks and bad intentions. Quit your whining. Both sides played with good sportsmanship. Ask anybody who was there.

Sorry, I almost made it to end of HS ball to comment (yes pun intended), but I just got tired of Mark continually tooting his "own" horn.

Yes Mark, bigdude, your daughter is a very good player who can pitch and hit with the best, yes she is a freshmen, yes she plays on a very good Pearland team that should be ranked somewhere near the top, yes all the statements are true that you say about her and the team, you where there.

Like someone once told you, be happy that your kid is a very good ball player. Daddy doesn't have to come on here and tell the world about her. Be humble and proud and tell HER, not an indifferent softball forum, how great she is.
