[quote="Lori"]"Of the North Texas teams that I have seen the 94 Batbusters were the cream of the crop. I have heard that they lost some girls (including the SS) and if that is the case, someone got a lot better and the Batbusters just lost a heck of a player. The (2) Glory teams were BOTH really good and played very clean ball. The Splash team (whatever they are now) is probably the best overall 14U team in the state. They are a 2nd year 14U team and that makes a lot of difference. They play very good ball and are strong in every position.

The Hall of Fame Qualifier should be fun!"

Well they may have lost their shortstop, and she went to fusion (sidwell)..but in her first tourney with them, they didn't even place 5th!!

Hope they don't decide to jump ship there too!![/quote

Sad....Lori........Funny, last I heard it takes a team to win and a team to lose...You apparently have issues with girls that know how to compete. You must be a very negative person who only has the guts to talk about people you don't even know. The young lady you are referring to the "ss" is a great young lady with awesome abilities. Suggestion....know what you are talking about before you stick your foot in your mouth....because from the sound of all the posts...you stick your foot in your mouth every time you open it.

Sorry to have offended you. This is just my opinion. Your DD must play 1B, SS, or 3B for them? :D

I meant no offense. They are all good ball players.

No offense taken.

The Peppers won at approxomitly an 85-90% clip last year... all the while playing up most of the year.

You don't do that with average to below average range at any positon.

But then again - as you stated - that is your opinion.

Good luck with that.
When asked how many times she hit Tiger with the golf club, she responded, "I'm not sure...put me down for an 8!

I have to disagree with you here Brooke's Dad.

With pitching like The Peppers have, you can be average in a LOT of other places and still win.

I do not disagree with Campos 100%. The Peppers infield is probably the most solid I have seen in Houston, but they do not have great range. Below average might be a little harsh though.

I see a lot of you have made your input to the list of the best 14U teams in Texas. I respect all of your opinions but you cannot really tally any real results until all of the 2nd year 14U teams finish playing High School ball. Most of the econd year tyeams have not even played in thier first tournament of th Spi9ng '08 season due to girls playing in the High School Playoffs. I say wait and let the dust settle at the 14U HOF Qualifier, since it is only 10 days away, then we will kow exactly who the top teams are. Not only on North, Central and South Texas, but all of Texas. I klnow as a fact there are teams left off of your list who will make a run at the HOF Qualifier and at Nationals. JMHO
