TPS 97 did nothing wrong here they notified me as soon as they found out there pickups fell through and I notified Connie with Red Hots. In our eyes this is a none issue we have all probably been in there sitation before. JMHO

Might want to add the Sudden Impact 97 to the poll......they have a great group of girls and could be dominant by the Spring, especially if Tamie can keep that guy coach in the dugout ;) ;) ;)

Great job this weekend in Tomball.

And kudos to Ray and the TX Storm Elite - very athletic team and well-coached.

Any one able to give a brief run down on the top few teams at burroughs. How are the teams built, big bats, fast, or great pitching etc. What is the scouting report like.

1. TX Storm Elite
2. Sudden Impact
3. High Voltage
4. Red Hots

Sudden Impact beat Red Hots 6-4 --- RH eliminated
Sudden Impact beat HV 3-2 --- HV eliminated
Storm Elite beat Sudden Impact 3-2 in Championship

Great Tournament........Looks like the 12U division is going to get "Really" interesting and we are just midway through the Fall season. :) :) :) :) :)

Oh, and glad to have you back HOTBOX!!!!!

Texas Rage and Panthers played for the championship, not sure who won. Rage put Panthers in the losers bracket in the quarter finals. Sugarland Smash got third.

4th 97 Texas Red Hots

5th 98 Texas Peppers
5th 97 Pearland Panthers

7th 97 Texas Heat
7th 98/97 Texas Sting (purple) Hybird cross 8-)

97 Texas Lightining
97 Wild Bunch
97 Texas Hawks
97 Texas Gems
97 West Houston Wicked
97 Texas Velocity
First 6 out:
97 Texas Sting
97 SK Impact
98 Spring Sting

Just to let you know the 97 Impact eliminated both the Wicked and the Velocity, then took the Panther to 3 innings of Itb before falling to them in a 1 run heart breaker.

I have a question the draw can really effect the outcome of a tournament. What time you play has an effect, who you play early and which teams are in your side of the bracket. I know it is the luck of the draw. Wouldn't it make the tournaments better if pool play seeded teams in the bracket. What is everyone's opinion ? I have seen this is common in baseball tournaments, why is this not done in softball ? ;)

I would be all for seeding the brackets. At times it does seem that the draw or TD loads one side with the more skillful teams which allows some weaker teams to advance further than they normally would.
