Thanks Peso, your knowledge is immense. How much is a Peso worth these days?

I heard 3 of the girls from Elliott's fall Glory team have gone Gold. 3rd & OF, both coach's daughters, were invited to join Glory Gold-Adkins. Tall blond catcher went with Avengers Gold-Segal. Other Elliott players were split between the new Glory-Adkins 14U & 16U teams. Plenty of talent there - too bad to see them split up. Will be interesting to see how those freshmen do at the Gold ball level.

I have heard that the 2 coaches girls were also put on the Gold team. It will be interesting to see how that works out. I am sure they will be in for a rude awakening trying to compete at the Gold level considering they never even competed at ASA Nationals in their own age group.

We all know that ASA Nationals is a completely different animal than USFA World Series they played.

Now you are starting to see the true principle of the Adkin's group. It was started on a daddy ball principle and has developed into a team of daddy's daughters that have moved from team to team because daddy wasn't happy. Now they are working hard to recruit from the Shelton pipeline because they know that the best North Texas players after this season are with Beard's 2010 and 2011s and Naudin's 2011 and 2012s.
As far as the Adkin's 18U Gold team, they will be as good as their returning college pitcher....for one year. But if their tactics pay off they will be able to steal some talent that has been developed from other teams.

Oldskool, you may want to recheck your sources. The two kids your talking about are very talented and will someday join our gold team but are currently playing on and happy with our 16-U team. We are preparing this team for the summer and ASA Nationals.

Daddyball is one thing I have never been accused of before. You are obviously just trying to create noise. I would never play my kid, or one of my coaches kid ahead of a better player in any position. This will not ever change so you will have to accuse me of something else.

I have never "STOLEN" a kid from any team or "Pipeline" Shelton had a player that came to my tryout and made the team, I do not recruit kids from within Texas Glory. We have always felt that if a player would rather play on another Glory team that they are free to move before or after the season.

I am more than pleased with the 2011, 2012 and 2013 players we have on our 14-U and 16-U teams. We are going to be in great shape for years to come.

You all are pathetic, Dan has to feel like a rock star with all the pub you give him. Why don't you just let it play out on the field and see how it goes?

Dan, Dan you're the man!!! You have never STOLEN a player from another team or within the Glory "pipeline"? You are pathetic. I have been around North Texas softball for many years and I know you have used this tactic for many years. Matter of fact, your recruiter Ted has been sending emails to a majority of the players on my daughter's team and other teams (no associated with Glory). This has occurred since you had the 70+ players attend your 16U tryout. Could you not build a team from these 70+ girls and the ones you have already "recruited" from other teams?

You have no respect for other coaches who have worked hard through the years to help these young ladies become better athletes. You try to take the best players from every team in the metroplex just so you can say "Looks what I did for Susie, I got her a scholarship". BS Dan. If a player is talented and does her homework (i.e. college looks, college camps, sending letters, etc.) she will get a scholarhip whether she is a part of Glory or not. Other coaches just don't brag about it like you do, they don't need to stroke their ego.

Every season your "recruiters" send out a blast email that says "We want your athlete, blah blah blah". I personally have received these in the past from the Glory organization. This is not recruiting, right Dan? Even before the fall season was over, a Glory coach called another coach from another organization wanting him to bring his DD and the catcher to the Glory. Didn't happen, coach is committed to his players (kudos to him). A player's parents on Naudin's team received a call from Adkin's side wanting DD. Parent said no, "recruiter" immediately sent a text message to the player. TOO FUNNY

Dan, have your tryouts like everyone else. Form a team from these players (that's right, you want "ready-made" players that you don't have to work with). IF A PLAYER DOESN'T COME TO YOUR TRYOUT, THEN DON'T TRY TO "RECRUIT" THEM. Quit tearing apart other teams. Do you really need 20 players on a team? It's sad to be so greedy just to make yourself look good.

Coaches Beware!!! If you want to keep your team together, don't disclose any player contact info when you attend Glory Exposure Tournaments or Camps.

Dan, you are a pathetic liar!

Jack Fulz is the new head coach, Steve Cantu is the assistant coach, along with Lewis Lisenby. Mark is focusing on getting his daughter ready to play at the next level over the next few months. Some of the players from the former Glory Elliott team will be on our 16-U team. Others will move down to our 14-U team. We had 64 players at our tryout on Saturday with more on Sunday that could not be there on Saturday. We have assembled a top team in both 14-U and 16-U and will now start to prepare for ASA Qualifiers and Nationals.

Texas Glory Gray 14-U has now become Texas Glory (Adkins) 14-U. New head coach and long time Glory coach will be Richard Simpson, assisted by Randy Gray, Scott Chambers and Jason Milligan. We have a plan in place for every single player that has made wither of these teams. I am thankful to all of the players and parents that came out and braved the conditions on Saturday.

Texas Glory Weddle has now become Texas Glory (Adkins) 18-U and once this team ages out, Kent Weddle and his staff will drop down to a yoounger age group and become non parent coaches.

Hopefully this clears up any confusion that you may have. There will be no duplicate teams within these age groups.

Dan Adkins

I don't know about all this BS all I know is they will have lots of beer at their tournaments to make it seem better.

I agree Dan Adkins is a self promoting liar.....

I have never said that I do not recruit players. I said I have never "stolen" a player. Players are not property of a coach, team or organization. They are there because they want to be there. If a better opportunity comes along then it is fair game for them to move on. By using your view of things, you probably still have the first and only job you ever had because for someone else to make you a job offer with better opportunity would be wrong I suppose???

I have always recruited players that I feel will fill the role on my team. I will continue to do so. I also recruit adults in the real world that may make my company better. If a player is happy, they stay where they are at, if not then they have an opportunity to move on to a new enviroment and see how it works out. Trust me, my players get the same calls from other coaches all the time. To them I say, if your not happy leave and find the right fit for you and make the most of it. Again, players are not property.

We have our teams all set, if someone is telling you that we are calling someone on another team, they are giving you wrong information. I do not have 20 players on my roster either so again, you have bad info. I am flattered that you worry enough about what I am doing to take so much time out of your day to type such a long and obviously thought out rant (although mostly inaccurate and hide behind a fake name...to be credibility, man up and state your name) because as long as I occupy that much of your thought process, YOU are right where I want you to be, worrying about me!
