I don't think it had anything to do with bad breaks. TPS girls were smacking the ball all day on Sunday, that is why they won and that is why no one will beat them if they continue to hit. Nothing against the Sting- they are a great team- but Sunday TPS won the games outright. :D

Ding Ding to your corners Let the smack talk begin....

"A" predictions

Stros 98
TX Sting 98
TPS 98 "This is a long distance tourney for them they've been playing with home field advantage for the last 4 months I think the last itme they played out of Deer park/Pasadena/Elfranco region was March" The miles will get to them

WHAT!!!! You must of had too many fajita tacos w/ Hammer. There is no way the stros will come in 1st...even though they were the only team to compete w/ the TPS this weekend (1-1). The stros will come in the top three...just too bad it might be 3rd. They will have to step it up in order to get out of the 3rd spot. Who knows...it could be anyones day. Just depends on how many breakfast tacos the coachs eat before the games. HAHA.

You too must have been in the same taco line to say the LS's were the only ones to compete w/TPS. Did you not watch the TX-Sting Game 2-1 TPS.
I agree w/u the Lady Stro's struggled big time but you never no which Stro's will show.

To compete at the select level, week to week, successfully there has to be several positive elements that happen and/or come together.

1) good team minded parents

2) talented players with alot of heart and dedication

3) good coaching with very good comunication with parents and players

4) love the game and promote the game in a positive way

5) always put the players first in all decisions made.

You can see all these elements in the top team organizations. That is why every week end they have the chance to win.

I feel Sting and TPS 98 are at the top every end because they do all these items a little better than the other organizations. I think this week end they will show that again.

Who will win that battle???? Both teams are winners already for what they do for the girls!!
