Talk the talk, but don't walk the walk

by Filthy McNasty » Tue Aug 25, 2009 12:31 pm

AS I was saying <whomever is discrediting the horns or legends probably has never played either of them or try both in the same day ,they are both very good and very young as well talk it or walk it they both play up and they both show up . I wish I were a fly on the wall when some of u draw them in the 1st bracket some time soon or maybe back to back ,THEY both can play

Let see, first major NTX 14U tournament for the fall was in Mansfield with 28 teams.
Around 3 or 4 registered "A" teams the rest "B" teams and one or two 94' teams.

Results a first year 14U "B" team runs the winner bracket for first place.

Looking forward to 14U NTX FP this season.

the team that won the Mansfield Tournament is a B team only because they dont want to play the big dogs. its a good team that I can only guess is afraid to play the best in the area.

yes i know the big dogs are not playing now but they could have played them in the spring and did not!!

So who are the big dogs in 14U this fall?

96 Diamonds usually take the fall off, 96 Fusion is signed up for one tourney so far. Once Fusion signs up for more tournaments I would guess most of them will be 16U tournaments. Those two teams are proven power houses.

So which NTX teams are the ones to chase this fall?

Which Glory Shelton team?

That Xplosion team is good. I hadn't seen them play before this past weekend. There were some little 97s out there ballin too.

I can't find no 14U Glory teams except Glory(Poole). Looks like most may have moved up like most of the other good 14U teams.

I would probably add the Texas Elite 14U Bancroft to your list of dogs in the hunt. I think that team is aka Texas Force which was a competitive team last season.

I am surprised that 96 D-Bats chose a 16U tournament as their first one for season. I believe that gives them an out, if they do not win or place in that tournament. Not to many heavy teams in that tournament yet. So they should place in that tournament, Centex Buzz should do good in that tournament.

So the Diamonds team is moving to Glory? Hate to see this talented group split up. Another one gone.
