I'm sorry to hear that. They had a good team. I hope the can come back strong, but if they lost that much it may be a little tough.

I was glad to see the Lady Stros won last weekend. Nothing against the other teams, but it's good to see different teams win tournamets. This may actually shape up to be a very competive softball year for the 10U Houston Metro area. :D

You're right 123..It is nice to see other teams do well. I was a little worried about the 10u being very competitive this year but things are shaping up. I hope people don't get too excited though, the TPS had a bad weekend, but they will be back. They have the most potential I just hope it all comes together for them. My props to the Texas Sting as well. Very well coached team and by far the most improved from the beginning of the fall season. Was also disappointed about the Peppers losing all their talent. I don't see them playing in very many of the big tournaments.

"Really", you should probably keep your opinion about other people to yourself especially the kids. Instead you should talk about how talented the young ladies are and feel privileged to be a part of your own DD's life. I have been around TB far too many years and I think you are a little out of line. You are taking 10U softball way to personal. It seems that you fall right in line with your chicken hawk analogy. The only difference is that you poke your chest out on a message board where no one cares who you "Really" are. I am sorry for you and will pray for you. I do not expect a response from you, but hope you can lighten up. Best of luck to you and may God bless you.

What about the Texas Sting it seems thay might have the right combo if thay can stay consistent with there bats. It seems that thay are gaining momentum & giving some real problems to some of the other top teams. And thay seem to always run under the radar without anyone noticing that thay could be the top in Houston. What am I missing on that team?

If you are looking for the best 10u team my vote is split 98texas rage and tps98 the 98 RAGE has been together for at least three years i think and the 98tps is a new team. both of these teams have beat the other teams when i have been there that you have listed, peppers,'lady stroes, sting etc. the 98 rage wone 3rd in state as a all 9 u team last year. i know the coach of both TPS and Rage and the Rage played all fall with out thier ace pitcher and 4 hole hitter. the other teams like Kaos , pepperes, sting that have lost players will need to prove if they can play with the TPS and Rage before i believe in them. The RAGE IS THE ONLY TEAM IN THE DIVISION THAT already has a birth to ASA nationals from thier add i saw on eteams earlier this year.

Need to watch more 10u softball. I think this spring & summer there will be some great softball match-up's. If we can get all the top teams at the same tournaments enough we will be treated to some great softball. I have seen all of these teams & each of these teams can match up with each other on any given weekend. It will come down to which team can stay consistent throughout the spring & summer & retain players & build on the talent they retain. All of these teams have talent some are deeper in certain positions others are more versatile. I have seen TPS, Rage, Peppers, Texas Sting, Lady Stro's and Kaos has not played to my knowledge but they should be a top team with the talent they have. TPS has lost to the Sting in two tournaments & lost to Lady Stro's. Peppers has lost allot of talent since the fall. Kaos will need some time to get some games under there belt before they hit full stride. Lady Stro's could make some noise if they will keep working. The Texas Sting seems to show up & play scrappy at most tournament's but the bats are streaky. Rage looked like they were missing some athletes in the fall but you could see with a couple of girls they could be in the mix on any given weekend. This brings a question to mind. Why do softball tournaments not use pool play to seed for the brackets ? (Except the big ones like the Bomber) It seam's the path you have to travel in most of the weekend tournaments have allot to do with the outcome of the event. If you have the top teams in bracket squared off early it will affect the outcome BIG TIME. Is it because they don't care about the outcome & just want the proceeds? It would not seem to take much & we would get more feed back from the winner's of the weekends with proper seeding.

The Rage lost several of their key players to the Panthers (hence their strong first showing of the season). And their ace pitcher/4 hole hitter that returned after an injury is not what she was before her injury.
