Congrats to TPS on the BIG WIN and the Berth. Congrats to the TX Sting on 2nd place finish and the Berth.

Raise you hand if you think the facility and the umpires sucked……. Both my hands are up. The officiating was absolutely horrible for the entire tournament. Where in the hell do these get these guy’s?

In the Championship game…..Thank God it was father’s day otherwise some Tx Sting fathers and the cameraman would have been sent packing by Blue after a strong warning for a blown strike call (only 1 of about 175 for the tournament).

Anyway, Splendora,Tx next :D How many teams are signed up for this one?

Horrible Umpires, Rat hole Facilities, Proof that its who you know not what you have to offer. I can think of 5 other facilities (actually any other) in Metro better suited for this type of tournament. Way to Shine Houston ASA thanks for thinking of the girls on this one.

Splendora should be a good weekend

Boy did you say a mouth full, I know what the blues due is a tuff job and yes it was hot.... but come on. If we ask 10 & 11 year old girls to stay focused for several hours you would think a grown adult could handle focusing for the same time. In the championship game all you could hear from the field umpire was how he wish he it was over and he did not want to be there. These young ladies put allot of blood sweet and tears in these games it would be nice if the umpires could at least appreciate that and stay focused during the games. I will say they didn't pick sides there were bad calls all over and in every game I watched. All ump's will miss a call now and then.. or see it different than someone else but it was bad. ;)

IF you haven't heard yet they are reworking the classifications for A and B teams and plan to shuffle some sleepers into A I heard that pools will be out tomorrow with the possibility for early friday games (not sure what that means).

From Eteamz

****Coaches- Due to the large number of complaints about teams playing B versus A in the 10u division, I have decided to initiate a review process today with some of the USFA leadership to possibly move teams from the B to the A grouping. USFA understands that not all will agree with this process happening with such late notice, but once we received so many complaints we had to act. Our decisions today will not impact World Series because decisions to that tournament are made at a National USFA level. We ask that you please understand we are doing what we think is right.

On another note- we are going to start scheduling the pool games tomorrow after the review process has happened and we are looking at having the pool schedule on Wednesday to Coaches. We were contemplating a Thursday start, but at this time it looks like an early Friday start is immanent. If you are a local team please have your parents on notice that they could have some early pool games on Friday as we are looking to start it early to keep everyone at one complex.

They are reworking the A & B classifications today to level out the playing field. Too many 98 teams trying to be a “B” team. I have heard that early Friday games means as early as noon/ 1 pm. They are asking for volunteers for these “early” games before they assign teams. It sounds like they are working hard and going to have it all redone by today and we should all have a schedule by tomorrow. We better start asking off work for Friday afternoon.

I enjoyed all my lil Heybucket friends this weekend. They had me rolling on the ground. I was LMFAO off at Hammer and Iron(urtain trying to figure out who I am. Those two are Hilarious got to love’em. 22’sDAD you’re a hoot too it was nice meeting you. Stuitup we didn’t get to talk much but you’re doing a fine job coaching. Softballfantic appeared to be a little grouchy after the pounding her team took. Tex you’re always positive you need to coach. Really I enjoyed your company as well.

Man o Man, there was a lot commotion when SKI was playing TPS you would have thought it was the World Series. After the bad call on a worm burner hit down 3rd base line JC came off his bucket like a rabid spider monkey and crawled up on Blue’s head. Meanwhile the 3rd base coach for TPS looked like he was doing the worm but still had the girls running around the bases. I heard jokingly the TPS coach said that JC put a leg sweep on him when he had is back turned. The ejection prediction was close but just a game shy. I heard someone yell out HEYBUCKET and he backed off...LMFAO

Also I got to stay and have the privilege of watching Iron(urtain Aka- cameraman, Hammer, Really and a Coach almost get tossed on fathers day for getting a little irate for the missed strike call. Lol….I have to agree with them it wasn’t right.
I also have to agree the umpires where horribly lazy and blind. The strike zone at times look like a hula-hoop and then a pie plate “wth”.

To sum it all up….
TPS…… was struggling out of the gates but as always finds the strength to fight the Tx-Sting for the win.
Tx-Sting…. looked a little shaky with bats and had some errors but over all played average.
Lady Stro’s….. Looked very unbalanced and confused. Layoff the batting and pickup the gloves.
Spring Sting….. I like…. Scrappy bunch of kids with a lot of heart too bad they’re are so little.
Spring Klein Impact… I thought looked better overall but still needs pitching and defense.
Peppers 98….. Clear my throat “LoL”….. Need I say more?
Peppers 99….. Looked better than the 98’s
Cy-Frenzy….. Still on the learning curve but looked better.
The rest looked like all-star teams

On another note, I think the out come was expected. Great Softball
