Yikes!!! Sounds like alot of unhappy parents out there with this many going to this one try out Also sounds like they will stay unhappy if they don't make the team

Seems like the unhappy parents that made the team are the same parents leaving the team. Which IMHO is good for the remaining team. Those unhappy parents again, IMHO, probably thought the team was forming as a trophy hunting team. What they did not realize, the goal of the team seems to be, much like the older Storm team, is to get the girls ready for college. Now the smart and patient parents and kids will stick around as they know what is best for their kid. The unhappy, impatient ones will leave, and that is what is happening now.

Success will come with this team, for the patient ones.

You can be patient all you want, but we are getting out!! You can also believe what you want to believe but this story does not have a happy ending. We were led to believe that it was going to be different, but it's not. See ya and good luck!

Sounds like you are on the team (you'd have to be to leave it), so why are you asking the HB folks about what is going on with your team? Shouldn't you know? Or maybe you are one of the original unhappy parents that never made the team and you are doing what you do best and are causing trouble.

It has been two months for goodness sake. Take back your good luck and give it to the coach of the next team you will go to. They will need it.

Ziggy is not with the Aces.... I have confirmed reports that she is not with anybody right now.

Is there any new news about Storm Elite breaking up? I suspect that it is only a matter of time... Will Fred take the defectors back? Will the ex-Bandits coach take back those girls with his new team in the spring? Will the 96 Kaos take back the last defector? My guess is, yes, they already took back one defector....

Good - that you tried to help your friend/former teammate, but we still know that Ziggy is with the Aces.

Good - that you decided to leave the team this week before you were asked to leave.

You are so transparent, you have to leave a team because your dd didn't get the playing time you thought she deserved THEN your going to attempt to restart your old EX-Bandits team in order for her to get all the playing time you want for her. That is called DADDY BALL. You are not helping her but are hurting her by not teaching her that playing time is earned by how well you perform.

The Bandits coach's kid is the only one missing from the Storm Elite roster.

I don't know. Tell us, will your hub take the kids back? Will any of them come back after the way he ended last season? Do you have a place to play? I see a pattern where he keeps a team together just long enough to get them close then craps all over them and flushes the team.

Storm Elite will be just fine. 2 daddyballer parents gone 2 to go.

This is Marci Holub and my first and last time to post on Hey Bucket but I wanted
to set the record straight. First of all, I didn't realize that our leaving the Storm
1 tournament before the season ended would be so interesting to everyone. In
all actuality, we are the 4th person to leave this team. Whoever Doittoitt is, it
is not Sonny or I...not sure who is unhappy?

I want to respond to the last posting. The first Texas Bandit team ended as one of our assistant coaches left and took 1/3 of the team with him. As a coaching team, Jay Burton, Sonny, and Bert Emanual tried to keep the team together, but we did not have enough players to finish the season. Please feel free to confirm with them. After that, Sonny started this team from scratch and had a successful run with good parents and coaches. Not that it is for public knowledge, but he spent 6 months of this past season battling with cancer and surgeries. He made it through with the help of his coaches and gave 2 months notice to all parents that after nationals he was taking a well-needed and deserved break. There was no surprises and never did he give up on those girls. He had coached for 7 years at this point, for free, to help kids improve and better their softball skills...that is all. He did it because he wanted too. Lord, give the man a break.

As for the Storm, we have nothing bad to say about them or Christa. It was not a good fit for us and our beliefs are a bit different from hers. As for the daddy ball...those of you that know Sonny know that he does not play that way. Our DD batted where she belonged, played where she belonged, and was a role player and the same amount of playing time on the Bandits as she did on the Storm. She worked hard for Christa and liked her as a person, no hard feelings.

Please let this be the end of this and move on. If you feel you need any futher information, please feel free to call Sonny in person at 281-615-4861 he will be glad to talk to you.

Nothing made the Bandit players, parents and coaches more happy when Sonny came thru his surgeries with a clean bill of health. Really, we all took a big sigh of relief when we heard the good news. No one wishes any ill toward you and your family....

The topic at our final Bandit dinner after our last game @ nationals, which you guys did not come to was - why in our final game with no outs, a runner at third, a runner at second and the Bandits are down by one run....why oh why did Sonny not give the next 2 batters the "bunt sign" or any sign at all. Sonny was talking with the other team's coaches who were in their own dugout, looking down and kicking the sand around. He did not give any signs at all. In all of our eyes that was "giving up". It made me sad for all the dd on the Bandits that their coach did not have the confidence in them.

You're an idiot! Let it go! It's easy to be an armchair QB. Start your own team make your own decisions. What about that time you made an a$$ out of yourself, oops! that's right now.

There is no such thing as a perfect player, coaches or team. We will always strive for it, but will never reach. Reality is at the end of every game/tournament we will be able to point out the shortfalls. Or that is until you run a team!
