1998 ~10U~ Houston Metro top 10 {R.I.P 08-04-2009}

Will the fact that Kaos picked up several players from the top teams cause the so called "Top Teams" to lose some of their momentum??? I guess time will tell.....

Any predictions for the Bombers Tourney???

Does anyone know what caliper of players the Kaos picked up? Are they really the "top players" or the players that the "top teams" did not want to keep. It will be interesting to see what they do when they finally play. What kind of pitching do they have?

First off 10U top players is a bit of a farce. They are 9,10,11 year olds 50% of them will not even being playing the sport in the next 3-4 years. Kaos supposedly pulled 3 girls from the peppers their #3 and #4 pitcher and the head coach (who will be an assistant with kaos) who happens to be #3 pitchers Daddy see where this is going. They will have a talented group of athletes Bert likes speed and they will be dominate on the base paths. They also pulled the a pitcher (a 99) from the Smash which for all that can be said was a glorified Rec program with a 99 and 01 playing for Dad. TPS catcher is probably the best player they got and it looks like they may have pulled a speedy Centerfielder from Sting. The girls coming back to 10's from 12's are from 96 kaos and one is the head coaches kid Trilleck. So basiclaly its built around players who's parents felt they should be better utilized. They will be a team of parental head cases. Especially when the pitching rotation pans out. They are already looking for 2 more athletes so someone might have jumped ship. Just my opinion as I've seen them practice and while they look like a strong team youcan already see the seperation between the parents reminds me alot of the chicken hawk with the parents chests poked out but all going different directions.

Wow that REALLY is kind of creepy that you know so much about a team that you are not even on. And to go watch them practice?? It must be nice to have that much time on your hands.

What about the Pearland teams?? Haven't heard much about the Panthers or the Crush.

I'll bet REALLY knows....his DD probably didn't make those teams either.

The fact that softball is a small world with plenty of parents who have daughters on different teams, at different ages, throughout different organizations who have nothing better to do at practice then discuss softball.

I don't know about those two teams all I've seen so far from Pearland was the phantomz and if thats any indication then they have a long way to go.

I WILL post back in 3-4 years but too bad you won't be here to read it because by that time I'm sure your 10uDD will be "unappreciated" just as your 14uDD is now and most likely be shopping...not playing softball. ;)

Let me now how that all works out for you

By the way sorry you couldn't Troll  up the response you wanted about your daughters team ;) Why would you ask, get a resonable response and then try to discredit the answer. When you get some time in your busy schedule reread my posts theres no negativity or jealousy if anything I've spoken highly about the Kaos organization just not the over loaded parents.

Just for the record, I am not with the Kaos. Just curious about the talent they picked up because they haven't played yet. I could care less about the parents. I just find it odd that you seem so obsessed with them. Were they disprespectful or something when they told you no?

1. Lady Stos 98 - very athletic, good hitting, average pitching
2. Texas Sting 98 - good defense and pitching, hitting streaky
3. TPS 98 - good pitching, girls out of position defensively, big bats

The rest is a coin-flip on any given weekend.

Rage 98 - good team, just need to show up at big tournaments
Kaos 98 - should be good "on paper"

Should be an interesting Spring. Bombers tournament will speak volumes!!! ;) ;)

Peppers lost a lot of talent from the Fall. #1 & #2 pitchers, SS, and 2B. They probably thought better of playing in this one. Only team missing from this one is the host.
