Here is what's wrong with Texas Teams

[MHO]

I was emailed how I found the 1994 results and I thought I would share it with everyone. In the back of ASA Gold Official Program they have the top 4 finishers in 1994 here is the top 4.

1. Gordon's Panthers LePalma, CA
2. Hot Stuff Yorba linda, CA
3. Sudden Impact Houston, Tx
4. Texas Gamblers Dallas, Tx

[TEXASGLORY]

Little Gamblers were never from Dallas. They were from the Austin area.

Food for thought

In the past 11 years North Texas has had the Texas Gatorade Player of the year 8 times. Impact Gold has consistently went to Gold Nationals and placed in the top 5 several times. You can come on here all you want and talk about it's different in Houston they have more talent..Maybe they just make the most out of what they got and don't dilute it!!!

You're so uninformed. . . 7 of the Impact Gold's 18-player roster don't even live in the greater Houston area.

What do you mean I’m misinformed….I don’t care if they come from Alaska, I would like people to understand that N Texas is loaded with good talent but with the way organizations dilute the talent. N Texas will find it extremely difficult to compete on the National stage.

What you don't seem to get it is that most folks don't agree with your proposition that North Texas doesn't compete well on the national state. . . .certainly as well as anyone else outside of California.

No, they were actually from Irving and 94 was the first Gold Nationals.

N. Texas should not feel bad. CenTex has only had two teams make it to Gold Nationals. The Texas Blaze and Austin Storm. San Antonio has never had a team at Gold Nationals ( according the the website)

[jag1]

ASA should eliminate the whole Gold-level debacle......go back to playing 18 "A"and"B" ball and let the cream rise to the top..! I predict we'll see Platinum, Diamond, or some other ridiculous classification at the rate they're going.
