Let's Play Two - I am sure the teams you mention for the VTD top stats, were not the teams saying anything bad about Firecrackers.
But for the record, since you are bashing these teams for playing local ball and winning "ribbons" in the local tournaments, and since you are bragging about your great ASA record, how many ASA tournaments have you played in and placed in the top 3 this year. I agree that it is great to go to Montgomery and Houston for some real competition, but that doesn't mean you can drag everyone down for placing in the local tournaments. Did you not place in many of those too?

Glory Adkins Allen, Firecrackers and the Fireballs of world are getting bashed because they don't, haven't placed high in a VTD tournament lately and now they are crowning Rhines team as the top '98 in the area.

And no my daughter's team was not lucky enough to qualifiy for any ASA qualifiers in the area.

You missed the point that I do not remember bashing Firecrackers, Glory Allen, or Fireballs at all, and I believe everyone understands the difference between VTD and ASA.

Ok let's play pick a VTD tournament in the spring ,if VTD can't handle it Dave can . 2 pools 2 bracket bat 9 champship play rules in bracket someone pick date in march and lets play.If there is enough of us someone will put it on .And open it up for everyone that wants to sign up. and no more then two pick ups on your roster.

That sounds great! I would be for that. 4GG. 2 unseeded pools Double elimination bracket everyone draws their own spot AT THE PARK after pool games are played. Bat 9 no pickups and 7 inning games. Give it a catchy name hold it someplace that can hold a lot of teams say southlake for instance and I bet you could get all the top teams to show up for that. Enough with the bragging, time to put up or shut up!!!

Sounds like everyone to me. There has got to be a TD on the bucket that can set this up. Make it an invitational call it the "Hey Bucket 14U Invitational" I'm sure there has to be a venue somewhere that would like to host this top level tournament. All the teams say they want to play the best competition here is the chance. Anyone not participating will have no claim to make.
