Wow another idiot crying about the bracket draw!> That almost never happens!!!!

The draw doesnt' matter if you have the talent to win. If you are weak and want to say you won a couple games I guess it may matter to you. I would rather play the top teams early, but it doesn't really matter. To be the best you beat the best.

I don't think anyone is crying, I saw the bracket this mourning and thought the same thing... The bracket is a joke  , anyone that is a math major please give us the odds on a blind draw having every D/FW team in one side of the bracket along with the best team from austin and the best team from houston too... anyone that was at the draw want to speak up... what 14U San Antonio team has members on the softball assoc. board... 12U bracket looks to be more legit...

Going back a couple of pages in regards to Elite's pitcher.... great kid, great family, outstanding work ethic, and a heckuva ball player. With all that and her physical gift of height, I think she'll be big time in a few years.

Everyone I talk to has said the same thing. Maybe it was a blind draw, pink pieces for DFW, blue for S.TX. Great draw for the Peppers, they deserved it after last year.

See y'all Saturday!

Just LOOKED at the bracket . . . I don't think there is any funny business going on because the SA Hitt are facing the Peppers in Round 1. No way they do that if they were fixing the bracket.

This has to be a bracket where they spread out the Dallas metro, Ft. Worth metro, Houston metro, Bexar metro, and Texas State teams, then went back and filled in the remaining bracket positions. Because there are more Dallas and Houston-area teams (some of which are actually Texas ASA State), these teams wind up meeting each other early.

However, they did it, it is definitely top heavy. Would not want to be in the second group with the Texas Glory (Adkins), Texas Blaze, Texas Elite (Floyd), American Freedom (LeBeau), Elite 14u, American Liberty Kruzers, and Texas Glory. This looks more like Sunday bracket than a first round draw. No chance for any of these teams advancing after surviving three rounds only to have the privilege of playing Batbusters (Montoya) or Travelers (Lusk) to get to the Peppers. If the winner comes out of this group, they DESERVE IT!!!!!

Peppers (Hoskins) have a dark-horse with the SA Hitt in the first round, but still should roll all the way to the finals of the winner's bracket. Batbusters (Montoya) got the draw he wanted, and probably deserves. Whoever wins between BB and Traveler's (Lusk) should still be healthy and fresh enough to challenge Peppers. My pick says it's one of these three still standing at the end. Everyone else just gets beat up early.

More interesting question is who gets upset in the first round. . . it happens EVERY year!
