Talk the talk, but don't walk the walk

The goal of the Texas Glory:
"Texas Glory is ready to start the 2009 campaign. Texas Glory held tryouts and have begun the long road to 2009 ASA Nationals. Don't let anyone out work you ladies. ASA Nationals or Bust!"

Although I think that in the past the goal was ASA "A" Nationals, not ASA "B" or USFA. The Mission Statement is not clear on that matter, it appears that is a change in the way Texas Glory operates. I did not take the original post as a slam on one team, just an observation of a clear parting of ways from the past higher goals set for the organization.

Keep an eye on them for me....

Joe - It appears you do a great job of keeping your eyes on this thread, my help is not needed here.

The Texas Glory website is going through some changes. The Glory Shelton site has removed all of the championship banners from the site. Simply put, Kevin Shelton was not a head coach on any team that won one of those titles. He will list his own accomplishments when they take place. A new site (TXGLORY.COM) will be up by the end of the week as it is also under construction. Both Kevin and I agree that there needs to be two websites as we are clearly headed in different directions both on and off the field. The Championship banners that belong with me and my coaches will be put back on the website once we have it finished. In addition, there will be a difference in the appearence of our teams on the field as we have added black to the Glory Adkins teams. This will reduce the level of confusion for everyone, especially the college coaches.

Mrs TeXasgLoRi, KnucKleHeaDs?? Surely you can do better than that? "Sand stick them"? Does this mean you wish for someone to actually dip a banner in sand and then stick them? And if so, stick them where?? Your narcissistic rantings should be a tad more descriptive to achieve your desired effect with your targeted audience.

If my detective skills are still sharp, I would deduce you are on one of the very well coached teams of Mr Shelton's. Likewise, since you speak with an all-inclusive pronoun of "we" (are glad), I would also conclude that you are assuming a position as spokeswoman for the entire Shelton camp. I seriously doubt that Mr Shelton and his entire coaching staff, of all teams, appreciate your anonymous posting blasting another program. I'm also sure your anonymous postings will remain nameless because you know if Mr Shelton knew your identity, you and your kid would be on the outside looking in wondering WTF just happened?? Then you could bash both sides!!

If you are not the spokeswoman, I suspect most of us, in Mr Sheltons program, just wish you would kindly shut the **** up!! I, for one, do!! At last count, 8 more do too. You make your own program look divisive. To all other readers, her views in no way represent that of the program!! You should be careful, it's not hard to figure out your identity. After all, you said your daughter has played with Glory since she started!! Let it go already.

Hey Mr. idonotbelieveu Kevin and I have been friends for a long time, who the f*** are you. Also who are the 8 people that don't feel this way. I think it's funny someone comes on here blasting me for staying anonymous and then stay anonymous. The real Texas Glory is happy the the Adkins circus is wearing black, and also hope everyone on the Adkins team moves to Georgia with that southern dummy.

The bickering back and forth does not make EITHER Glory camp look good. If someone were looking to find a new team and read this, I think they would run to whatever other organization they could find based on the posts here. While you guys are bickering on 'who is better,' everyone else is thinking 'glad my kid isn't involved in this mess...'

Whitney Canion has a 1989 birthdate which makes her too old to play 18-Gold this year. She could play 23-U if she desires. She has had a great season at Baylor and will leave a pair of huge cleats to fill for the next Baylor pitcher to fill. She is also a great young lady!

Dan,

Are you saying that Ms Canion is leaving Baylor after this year, or are you projecting 4 years down the road?
