Just bring you dd to the Glory(Shelton)tryouts. You will see all the girls from other teams trying to be inconspicuous to try to make the move over. And when they don't get picked they go back to their origional teams and talk about how bad glory is . And by the way the top teams are Naudin and Fusion hands down

Red faced and an idiot? Are you racial profiling? ...and yes, it will be fun, but only after you've been slapped around a bit...

Thanks to everyone that has given us some idea's as to which teams we should look at.We were in Plano this past weekend doing just that.I can say in my opinion Glory & Fusion are both very good & appear to be very organized.Glory/ Naudin appeared to be very much in charge of the team & I saw Coaches Scouting his team.Same for Fusion/gold team that I watched.I also saw the"HOPE I GOT THE NAMES RIGHT" Fusion/routon 14u & Glory/pool 14u teams play each other. Both those teams had great players & I hear are moving up to 16U.So once again thanks to everyone. Time for tryouts now>>>>>>>

Mucho Burrito...

Did you also notice the parents of these teams kind of leaning sideways or lopsided...from the huge hole in their wallets...many for the privilege of sitting the bench with a 15+ team roster? I'm not saying your kiddo won't get looks on these teams, but they're plenty of other teams out there where your kid actually takes the field and gets the same looks from the college(s) of your choice...and many that will cost you much less....in Glory or Fusion dollars. Oh... and plenty that will show loyalty when developing your kid's skills verses finding someone better.

Joe,

Now in terms of $$$$, it's obvious you don't know what you're talking about! As far as fusion 16U, I know we are at or below what the other high-level teams are paying/charging. I know the amount of dues for both glory groups, montoya, Dbat and a host of other teams. We certainly are not the highest, and in many instances our 16U group is the lowest. We have also done three easy fundraisers to try and off-set some of our travel expenses to Temple, nationals, and Premier in HB, California. As far as rosters are concerned, we do have as many as the rest, but as long as players are getting developed and get opportunities, then I don't see the issue. If a group overloads at a position or two and people don't get an opportunity to compete for playing time then I agree that'd be a problem. Can't really argue the fact that these teams are truly getting kids ready for the next level playing on a team with a 16 girl roster size! Have you looked at the college roster sizes? Don't know if I have seen a D1 roster with less than 16 players....several over 20.

Again you can say what you want about Fusion, or any of the groups for that matter! I just ask that you get the facts straight before putting stuff out there for all to read! BTW, our 16U dues were less than $625. and more than $550. Nothing to hide here dude!

Pancho

My bad...you must be on the budget plan. And you're right, some of the big dogs around here have been known for "we'll pay if you play". That would make it a bit more affordable.

Roster of 15-20 and "your spot is good....uhmmmm....unless we recruit someone better"? It can't get any better....

I think your looking at pretty high dues either way once you get to 16U. The showcases do not get any cheaper. I think Plano cost us around $600-$650 after the pay at the plate. Probably more than that for ones who went into bracket play on Sunday( if it was still pay at the plate ).. Our spring dues were $550, I assume fall will be something similar since there will be even more showcases.
