You mean the team with all the top girls off of all the top teams ? Surly not that team, it was so competitive right out of the gate, nothing could have went wrong with that team. Didn't they pick girls from the big three TPS, Texas Sting, & Peppers ?

Don't forget those girls that moved down from the 96 team for this special unique opportunity. I wouldn't say they are disbanding but they are relinquished to the ranks of the 98 peppers and are no longer much to write home about.

I don’t know what they were thinking when they posted that.
Maybe the Sting will pick up some of the Kaos Pitching/a player and decide to go to ASA??? Are there any other 10U teams planning on going to ASA besides TPS?

This was predicted. It is too bad for the girls. This will for most their third team in 6 months. Parents, exactly what message are you sending these girls. Not to mention the tag that you will now carry. Good luck finding a home.

Yes I have, I have also "not" seen them in the big tournaments with the top 98's playing. They had every opportunity to jump in down in the Stros tournament instead they where the first 98 team to sign up in the burroughs tournament which only had 6 weak 99 teams at the time. Local or not the best play the best not avoid them. What was the mighty peppers record in Cyfair last weekend?

Burroughs lineup
10U OPEN
99' Peppers
10U Bad Company
Cy-Fair Predators '99
Pasadena Angels 99
Texas Crossfire 99
Out Of Control '99
Humble Cobras 99
Texas Peppers 98
West Houston 98'
Santa Fe Blaze
Gulf Coast Kaos
Cy-Fair Storm 99’

Stros line up
10U:
1. TPS 98
2. Lady Stros 98
3. Kingwood Edge 99
4. 98 Rage
5. 98 Eclipse
6. Ballistix
7. Pearland Panthers 98
8. Baytown Slam
9. Pearland Phantomz
10.Texas Sting 98
11.SK Impact 98
12.Texas Heat
13.98 Crush
14.GC Kaos

If you are a top team you tell me where you'd be playing. If you are a weak team needing a pick me up tell me where you play (AND HOPE YOU WIN). Peppers 98 didn't need to play in Burroughs to help them make either it was made before they signed up.

Have seen the 98Peppers bat around a couple of times in an inning of pool games on some younger 99 teams. Very classy.

RESULTS from the Southbelt Lady Stros 10-U tourney this weekend.

Champs- TPS 98 (undefeated)
2nd- Texas Sting (#1 pitcher banged up and didn't pitch championship game)
3rd- Lady Stros 98

Great weekend of softball- hot and sticky. Should be a good weekend to gauge the remaining games this summer.

I hope Casey(Sting) is OK and comes back with a vengence. :) 8-)
