I'm also tired of these "money grab" tourneys with 24-30 teams and games after midnight.
June 28-29 6 game Shootout in Burnet Texas...very nice complex nobody knows about (5 softball fields) Tourney will be limited to 12 teams (16U or 18U teams) played on 3 fields. Games start at 9:00 AM on Saturday and teams are on a game off a game. Last games on Saturday start at 8:30 PM. (every team plays 4 on Saturday)
Teams will be placed in two pools of six teams. Play each team in your pool (finish the inning games). Pool play determines seeding into single "E" bracket on Sunday. Every team gets 6 games nobody plays more than 8 and everyone goes home early both days. How refreshing
