There used to be a couple of tournaments where teams were supposed to play in their "actual" place, i.e., 12U (for 2009 would be '96 and '97). This would supposedly include the Temple Monster Mash Tournament and the Ronald McDonald Tournament. Apparently this has changed in the last couple of years, and the TDs are not requiring this age requirement. Sort of changes everything.

The head coach's daughter was playing 2nd base, but when he got a better 2nd baseman he moved his daughter to CF.

I beg to differ. It could be daddy ball. Daddy found her another starting spot. Was she better than the other centerfielder? The ex-centerfielder's parents probably feel like it is "daddy ball".

I'll bash them! Most dads belong in the bleachers. I'm all about paid coaches. Parents will pay if you have long lists of D-3 scholarships from your org!

how bout the coach that tells his team before nationals that the best nine girls are going to play and come game time his DD is in the line up for every game, even if she is not one of the best nine girls on the team. now that's daddy ball at its best

Yea and beware of the coach that says 'I promise' at the end of every sentence.
