My dd has this goofy idea that school is for learning and education and all that - instead of what we know it is, a place to stay in doors while you wait for practice to start.
 Somebody who went to school for the same reasons I did!

Hey Donnie, It takes me about seven minutes to get to the cages for DD's lessons :P

I remember flying into LA some time back and looking down and seeing all most as many baseball/softball fields as swimming pools.

When the school my kid signed with wanted to come down to see her practice and play, the fields we had them come to were a legitimate combat zone area. I asked the city to provide extra manpower for the park and extra police protection so we wouldnt have an incident. There were police cars on both sides of the complex and between the projects (shooting gallery) and the complex. The coaches were cool about it - but I was uptight about their safety up until I heard they had reached the airport.

I would have changed things - or tried to - but it was on a saturday and the coaches said where do you practice/play during the week. I said not knowing what they were planning, 'the girls are in a city league and play on wednesday night at xxxxx park in Corpus'. They said, 'great, we will see you there' - I go -"WAIT - ' They said ' ah, dont worry about it, we have seen worse.' Probably the only thing Coach said that I dont believe.

Shelton Adkins it don't matter.

Glorybucket is all this is every time you say anything against them all the crap glory people come out.

Does anyone else find this interesting... In the thread "Talk the talk, but don't walk the walk", Texasglori trashtalks the Adkins side of Glory and basically kisses Shelton's you know what!!! She was warned by a fellow Sheltonite that she better stop speaking for the rest of the organization or her dd would be gone.

Question... Did Shelton finally figure it out?? According to this post, they obviously aren't BFFs anymore!!

Speaking of taking a ride on a horse. Did you hear about the nice hotel that there 12U coach stayed in at 12U Nationals in Illinois? With all that money coming in from craigs ranch they can't do better than a coleman tent?
