Still a little bit of a sore subject with me but I am coming to grips with it because I understand the reasoning...We are going to Panama City this year . The team decided that this will be our last year to go to a "vacation type" Nationals and enjoy a week on the beach while still playing softball. After this year (I am hoping) it'll be pure college exposure and hopefully ASA Nats from then on. I do have to agree that I would hate to go 2 and out and have several days to hang around in Marietta Ga. Having been to PCB in the past with other teams I know what to expect.

Schedule two or three practice games, play two pool games, then assuming you go two and out in bracket, you would still get more out of those 6-7 games than a whole week of playing at Panama. JMO

Damn, I would have never of guessed that in a million years....... so ya'll are not going to do any of the HOF qualifiers or metro? That seems out of line with what I thought of your Coach's "We want to play/be the best attitude" But hey maybe you can pick up for a team that does go? Good luck see ya'lll soon!

Curious, are you a 1st or 2nd year team? I watched some of your game at one of the tournaments and it looked like a pretty aggressive team. Good luck to you, like I said, just curious.

it seems alot of the S. Texas teams are really involved in USFA in the younger age groups but as previously posted they can really compete at ASA Nationals as well!

What I think is really crazy are teams that go to both Panama City AND ASA Nationals, mucho funds needed to go to both, we would never do that..

Not only mucho funds, but alot of vacation time. I can see some of these fully funded teams doing both. I have not seen the Jets play but from what I have heard they are good, and I am surprised to hear they are doing USFA instead of ASA. PCB is fun and we have been there several times as 10's and first year 12's but to each there own. Good Luck to the Jets and to Lefty D.
