Show me the MONEY! 14U

by 51sDad » Wed Dec 01, 2010 7:28 am

Not surprisingly, it looks like the 12/14U combo at BLD is a bust. They have 6 teams listed but I have spoken with a coach directly from one of those teams who will for sure NOT be playing. There is still another spot in McKinney for one of you to get out while you can and play some real softball.

You're right. See you out in McKinney

Everything this Larry guy touches goes bust. I dont understand why VTD wants someone like this representing them.

All kidding aside. One thing that seems to be a dominant trait in the few who post on here about 90 percent of the time, All of the usual's are not happy unless you are trashing someone else. You must live very sad lives and do not even know the true state of your own life. You are to busy pointing fingers and hoping for some one else to fail for your own sick entertainment.

You get off on others short comings. When your time comes, you will wonder why no one is helping you and will have forgotten how arrogant you were. I do not hope for your failures but pray that your eyes will be opened. I know it is pointless to even say this now because the usual's on here will only scoff and laugh. Just remember and you had better believe that what so ever a man sows that shall he also REAP.

As for the tournament at BLD I was only trying to open a new place for the fast pitch crowd to play at. One more thing, all of you who hoped that the tournaments would fail, you got your wish. Now you can revel in the failure of this tournament not making. You can talk it up now!

Just don't expect the door to open again for a very long time at BLD. We open the door and welcome the fast pitch crowd in. The fast pitch crowd made a choice and the door will be shut now.
I really wished that it could have happened. The benefits of playing there far out weigh playing any where else in the metroplex. The fast pitch community may not get to experience that now.
The adults and youth baseball have realized the benefits and will continue to get first choice a available dates. Their tournaments fill up 8 to 12 months out and most of the time they pay that far in advance too. That is why BLD caters to their needs.

One last thing to all who think that I work for VTD, you do not have the slightest idea what you are talking about. I volunteered my time there for about about 2 months. I was not payed, I was just helping Allen when he needed help. He is good friend of mine. Friends help each other in time of need. They do not hope their friends will fail and they do not gossip about their friends.

Larry - It failed because you were in it to make money for yourself. The money wasn't going to any of the OC teams and never has. BLD is a Great Park and teams will play there but not through you. Are you listening Allen? When you try to make money in a non moral way you reap what you sow. Taking advantage of Non Profit Teams is very SAD!

Hey Ballfirst, why don't you tell me the definition of morality since you are the self appointed morality police. I do not see any thing in the definition of moral that says it is immoral to make money to support my family. It is called providing a service and getting paid for doing so.

1.
of, pertaining to, or concerned with the principles or rules of right conduct or the distinction between right and wrong; ethical: moral attitudes.
2.
expressing or conveying truths or counsel as to right conduct, as a speaker or a literary work; moralizing: a moral novel.
3.
founded on the fundamental principles of right conduct rather than on legalities, enactment, or custom: moral obligations.
4.
capable of conforming to the rules of right conduct: a moral being.
5.
conforming to the rules of right conduct ( opposed to immoral): a moral man.
6.
virtuous in sexual matters; chaste.
7.
of, pertaining to, or acting on the mind, feelings, will, or character: moral support.
8.
resting upon convincing grounds of probability; virtual: a moral certainty.
–noun
9.
the moral teaching or practical lesson contained in a fable, tale, experience, etc.
10.
the embodiment or type of something.
11.
morals, principles or habits with respect to right or wrong conduct.

The problem with some in the fastpitch community is you want everything for free.
Why don't all you who are so opposed to anybody making money off of girls fast pitch run free tournaments.

Most tournaments are being worked by Teams to raise money so they can afford travel, uniforms and field rentals from their City. The rest goes to the Association to be able to provide fields, lights and umpires. What organization or Team does your tournaments help?
Oh I forgot it is LFPA = Larry's Fat Pocket Account.

So you Definately don't meet any of the Definitions you posted!

By the way how much Money was raised for your Autism tournament and how much went to them and how much went to you? Never saw anything posted from that one!

Why don't you call F.E.A.T. NT 817-919-2228.
Not that it is your business what goes on internally and what goes into a fund raiser tournament but I paid out of my pocket. We donated $3000.00. Did not make a dime.

How much did you donate? ANYTHING? I doubt it. You probably came and pointed fingers and criticized.
I have a daughter with Autism.

That is great that you raised money for them. That should make you sleep a little better at night while you are dreaming up another way to line your pockets.
