I like this conversation about what has happened to Texas teams at Nationals. My opinion is we are so watered down with teams and just happy to get to Nationals that we don't put a emphasis on trying to win. In the Metro area when there is a good young 12 or 14 year old team, instead of trying to compete against them, we try to tear them apart and in doing so everybody gets a piece of nothing. If we are about winning we need these teams to stay together and be age pure from 12 to 18 gold. I know a girl from time to time will leave the team, but that's better than trying to replace 4 or 5 kids at once. I know this will hurt the organizations that try to build a team through other teams, but this is what I see as a major problem and I know it will not get fixed.

I guess the coach and half the team quitting to go play for a team that went 1-2 to at premier didn't hurt that team too bad??? Karma baby....Karma!!!

there is no doubt that coach rob gets the most out of his girls. my daughter turned the corner under his leadership. he has always pushed his team to be the best and i personally admire his methods of making the tough decisions needed to be made when no one else could. i often think of the movie a "few good men", and how we need someone on that wall. harry truman said it best,"the buck stops here". not all coaches are perfect, but i would love to have this one on game day. great season to everyone, as for erin#12, i have seen her many times this year and have never been disappointed in her ability to keep batters guessing, not to mention her "GAME FACE" is one of the best around, no disrespect to nascar, she is softballs "Intimidator",that's usually worth an additional 3 k's per game.
