Yes. I consider Houston to be STX. STX has some really good teams and they are proud of their teams as we are in NTX. I talk trash about them, but I really do respect them. The majority of parents and coaches are good people. They dedicate their time and want their teams to win just a bad as NTX does. The trash talk is just that. TRASH TALK! I know I am guilty too, but try to keep it clean. Not always the case though. Some want to get kinda personal. Oh well!
HOPE YOU HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Thanks - hope you have had a Merry Christmas too - we have.
I think about texas softball as being the North texas (Dallas/Fort Worth area, East Texas), Central Texas (Seguin, San Antone, hill country, up to and around Austin), Houston area, then South Texas - which to me is south of San Antone and Houston down to around us and down to the border, then west texas area - but we dont see them too often.
There are very strong teams in all these areas but my opinion is the strongest area is the Houston area - same reason as the socal area, lots of kids, good competition. I know there are very strong teams in the north texas area for the same reasons, we just dont get up there enough.
