Heard it was 4-0 Pearland in the 3rd with Show hitting one in the Tennis courts!!! All off Ace from Deer Park. Sure wish I knew it was at 1:00 before I had already went to work. Congrats to Cy Ranch and Pearland if that is how it finishes!!

Let me re-phrase. Pearland put a whoopin on Deer Park from what I was told!!! 7-0!!! Gotta go see them play for sure!! Congrats and keep it up!!!

Saw the game Coach. Show hit 2 homers and Pitched a 1 hitter. No bad playing by Deer Park. Yes it was Deer Park's #1 pitching. Just got a straight out whoopin. Very impressive.

Were coming from N TX to play in the Sienna/Missouri City Tournament next week. It will be a fun trip to play some S TX teams.

Is that true? Also heard that Pearland's #1 didn't pitch against Oak Ridge and that #1 had the only hit in that game. Is that true? Also heard that I heard that Pearland didn't play Cy-Fair. Is that true? From everything that I have heard, if #1 is pitching, then a whole lot of good things happens for Pearland. Is that true? Last but not least I heard that #1 had 4 HR's in this tournament. Is that true? Come on Phantoms, tell us some facts.

Bigbaddude - Are you impling that Pearland's team is not real good without #1 on the mound?????
They still can generate a lot ot offense, and their defense is pretty good.
Yes, they lose a little but looks like they would still contend.
Let's hope #1 stays healthy and it will be a really great run for Pearland and maybe a State Title.
But they still have some really great teams out there to contend for the same Title and it is a long season that can be full of surprizes.

All the clubs I saw play this week-end -- Pearland and Cy-Fair looked the best.
Deer Park is still inconsistant. They will hit. Then not Hit. Play good defense. Then play not so good defense. One game pitching is good. Next game they can't find the plate.
It appears Pearland and Cy-fair knew their rotation. I do not think Deer park park has settled on a #2 pitcher yet. Even their #1 was inconsistant. I don't think they will remain as the #1 rated team much longer, unless they can get it together. Pearland is just tough-tough-tough.

Thats what I heard. It would have been good if Pearland and Cy Fair would have played each other. From what I heard those two and Oak Ridge were the most dominate teams this weekend. We'll see how it goes next weekend in Missouri City. It is tough to argue with my buddy, who has a dd on Pearland, that when #1 is on the mound, they are pretty darn invincible. Is that true?

That is very true at this time of the year. If the other teams start catching up with her fastball and putting pressure on her, they can light a fast ball pitcher up. I don't know if kids at this level can adjust to her fastball. Time will tell.
As for now they look to be the team to beat in 5A.
