Have to disagree (at leaast for one weekend) we hosted last week in Splendora, and I was impressed in watching both the Crossfire & TPS Teams & their Managers. Can't say the same for the Cobras Managers. One of them repeatedly screamed and threw his hat down, while the other one smashed to bits his balls & strikes clicker after throwing it down.
one weekend thats right... wait until his team isn't so winning... i mean in the spring, crossfire coach will be seething when his team isn't winning in the spring.. question is, how many of the present girls will he still have?? same goes for tps... there are a few on either one of those teams that like to hop around if things don't go their way.... amazing, why don't parents just get their dd's with a team and stick with it??
crossfire ain't got poop.... several pearland girls and one from missouri city??? whos he gonna get in the spring??? amazing that some people will let their kids play for the same people that they complained about in years past.... tps still looking for a pitcher???? maybe the crossfire or phantomz will lone you one, or two??
i still think the cobras are gonna be the team to beat... doesn't matter how many hats they throw down, people know who to let their DD's play for if they want to win... that's jimbo, numero uno coach since 6U...... and as a second choice as much as i hate to say it, the phantomz are going to be a team to watch out for.. can't say much for the coach, but one that knows how to win and he has the girl that has the potential to be the best 10u pitcher around...thats what i am hearing anyway....what do you say 6th sense?? you seem to know alot about what is going on in 10U....
I think you will see some ups and downs from all the teams mentioned above, but all the coaches have been around the block. They all will put together competitive teams. The spring
will come down to who can keep what they have and fill any gaps that are discovered from the fall. As for players switching teams, that's part of A ball and sometimes it may not be the players choice. Don't forget loyalty is a two way street! Who does your DD play for? Mine is playing for the Crossfire coach and we have no complaints. There practices are 2nd to none.
Later
i would bet your from pearland. you are right about the ups and downs, but not about all coaches will put together competetive teams. your coach will shoot himself in the foot by mid spring next year, i hear there is already a little controversy on that team, but that comes with most any team. it is how the coach handles the controversy. there are definately some controversial people on that team, for sure..players switching teams is totally the parents doings... just ask one of ya'lls parents about quitting a team because of somebody the team picked up that they were playing on (if that story is correct??)... that is totally a parents call. not he kids the least bit... heck, the two girls probably would have gotten along fine together, so i hear...
its great that you are playing for a coach and have no complaints, i am sure he appreciates that as all coaches would... but i'm also pretty sure that all it takes is a little bench sitting or something like that and then the big guns will come out eventually....
good luck and i am not at liberty to say who my dd plays for. i wouldn't want to cause our coach any negetive feedback...
