Ligament damage, out 2 - 4 weeks. It didn't have to happen. She had already released the ball and was four to five feet towards the first base side of third base, not to mention if the play had been made right before that, the girl wouldn't have been on second base!

But I will say this much:

I AM SO, SO, SO, SO FREAKING HAPPY FOR THE OUTCOME OF THE GAME.

La Porte beat Channelview 15-5 last night, they are in District 21-5A.
La Porte is 5-1 in District so far and I believe 1 game behind Baytown Sterling ?

Deer Park will join that District next year.........

Does 24-5A use the head to head runs allowed tie breaker? Where if the two teams split, A beats B 4-3 then B beats A 5-3, B would be the champ based on run differential?

Santa Fe is in third or fourth in their district. Manvel is undefeated, Ridge Point has one loss, everyone else has lost at least 4 games. Texas City, Santa Fe, Clear Falls, and Friendswood battling it out for 3rd and 4th.
