i just herd someone talking about how 98/99 mizuno protects there players. i thought mayb that meant they buy them better helmets or something. i dont know.

Since there are so many factual HB facilitators, I would like to set a few facts straight that were commented on inaccurately from Txfastpitchsoftball. I am not a 12U coach as he stated so infadictally and I did not say anything about the current 12U teams not having any competitive spirit. I was actually refering to recently (in the past), NTX 10U or 12U teams not willing to travel to places like the lions den of softball which is Southern California to compete at the highest level imagineable besides USA/ASA Nationals. I don't think anyone would deny that. I would welcome the thought of more teams making that level of comittment to there teams.

I am just proud to see that Team Mizuno '98 is willing to compete at that level. I understand that their is a certain level of excitement that comes over these girls at the younger ages at the thought of traveling long distances to compete in a sport that they absolutely love, which is what I love to see. We have generated a work ethic with our girls that is unbelievable. They honestly seem to want to practice and/or play every weekend. That is what coaches work towards is to have a level of committment that makes them winners in every way, even if they lose a game from time to time.

I do however look forward to seeing all Team Mizuno teams competing at the best tournaments possible to challenge the girls at the highest level next year to prove how good they can be, which will be what they will need to do to get where it is they want to go, College.

Boy you really slapped me down there! Trevino's Gold team has its Mizuno name taken away by a 10u coach! Now that changes everything! Take Trevino's lead and stay off heybucket for a while.
