Tex, no offense taken. I just have been reading through here and saw some people talking about rumors and wondering what was going on with us, so I just thought I would clear the air and give an accurate update. Just putting everything out there so noone has to wonder anymore, that's all.

Just curious, what 10U team are you with? You can PM me if that works better for you. I am just wondering what '98 teams are good as I only know 1 of them and that's Jody's team.

Coach I know the Red Hots are a great team with great parents and very, very capable and bright coaches. I have watched yall play and have the utmost respect for the Red Hot Organization.

I was just giving some perceptions of some of the teams as I saw it. I'm sorry if I offended you or the Red Hot organization, that was not my intention.

I know we will see great softball from all the top teams and some very good competition from all. Best of luck to the Red Hots.

I think we're gonna need to request more room in the poll. :D this needs approx. 648 12U players for 9 player rosters :o 792 to carry 11

WOW.....I didn't realize there were 750 "tournament level" 12U players around the Houston area. Should make for an interesting Fall with potentially a lot of movement as some of these "tournament teams" get exposed.

The next question needs to be....How many of these 75 teams will survive the Fall season? Or will some be ready for league ball in the Spring?

I guess it all depends on which tourneys these teams attend. If they stay away from the top tourneys like alot of the '97 teams did last year, then they might be ok. On the other hand, if they attend the better touneys, then they will get a big dose of reality pretty quick. JMHO.

This many teams will make it easier for teams to duck and dive the top dogs this year. Wont be hard to have multiple tournaments on the weekends and fill them up this year. Where will the top dogs start the season ? 8-)

   Need a pole to count the teams that don't make it through the year !

Spring is when some decide they can do it better I'd expect an expansion of teams rather then a drawback maybe 90ish :? . Just consider it the Fastpitch stimulus package. Think of the number of uniforms ordered, matching helmets, new equipment etc....

My prediction is that you can take that 75 teams and cut it in half by spring. I’ve already seen a lot of parents jumping ship thinking the grass is greener on the other side of the fence but I’m gonna wait to say I told YOU so. I’m w/22’s dad it will be fair game after the first tourney to start bashing everyone. Oh and whoever ordered those fries for me could have at least paid for them lol. See ya Ladies on the Diamond…..

I've seen one family play for 5 teams in one season! Can you beat that?
