This is an unbelievable post, it seems apparent to me that it is Lori but either way that is irrelevant-

Max and I go way back, we have worked together for several years. I am his daughters hitting instructor, she also works with my wife on her catching skills, they are close friends of ours. Max will coach one of our Texas Fusion teams once her ASA career is over, if not sooner.

It is our philosophy to get the right coaches in the right places, find the right players that have the Attitude, Hustle and Desire to get to the next level. Then give that combination an opportunity to grow and gel together. This is a formula of success that we had when we coached the '91 Texas Elite and while it doesn't work for everyone, we did achieve great success and that is the same premise that the new Texas Fusion Program is based on. We will have good tournaments and bad ones; it is all part of the journey. I always tell people that this is a marathon not a sprint. Some people understand and others don't but we will continue our search for the 33% of people in the softball community that are leaders both on and off the field. We have made great strides in just one year, but we are a long way from where we hope to be, when the marathon is over. When it is, we will then start another one!

Ok Lori - I'll give you that, as in not afraid to say anything. Unlike me, just afraid to give full disclosure as to who you actually are. Its very easy to sit back and say things about players, parents, coaches, organizations - but not stand up and say this is who I am. Until you do that, it would be hard for most of us to embrace your brave oppinions.

I did see a post a few weeks back saying who you where, but until you verify we won't be able to know for sure will we? LOL

You are correct, a conspiracy theory is about as silly as anything that I have heard in a long time. I was hoping both teams would finish in the top 5, although I am extremely proud of both teams finishing in the top 7. I won't comment on who pitched when or why, but without knowing the details it is impossible to explain. I hope I have heard the last of that non-sense.

We still have a lot of work ahead of us and if these teams keep growing through the summer, it will be a great experience for the players and their families.

I thought the conspiracy was about us getting BOTH teams in the top 7(really it was supposed to be top 3, but we were foiled).   Just wait, we have it all figured out now and are working on a new conspiracy.... And Shut Up & Play Ball knows I know....I called this last weekend before it happened...My evil plot continues...haha

Wow! Just found Hey Bucket recently and this is my first post. I thought thirteen and fourteen year olds were dramatic!!! I am proud to be associated with the Fusion organization and especially Max. I'll try to be more profound in the future!
