Texas Storm Dimarini will have both Durham's team and Newsom's team playing Gold this summer. I think Durham's team should qualify, Newsom's team will be a long shot. With the right draw I guess anything is possible.

I don't believe all of this list were in Marietta, but none of them qualified. Blaze lost to Impact Gold 4-3, for the chance to go to the nationals.

This is really a funny topic. To much speculation with this particular list of teams. I know you can only list ten, but someone should do their homework first prior to listing teams. You can go to the ASA website and see which teams have made an appearance at the prestigious 18U Gold Nationals.
Tx Blaze Gold, Katy Heat Gold (which team has disbanded), Tx Express Gold, GT Shockers, Tx Fusion have all only made it to Gold Nationals one time. I would not think that these teams have really not accomplished the right to be named.
As for Sudden Impact, this is not the sudden impact team from last year. Different team, different coaches. Tx Magic is hit and miss.
The teams that consistantly make Gold Nationals are Impact, Tx Storm Demarini, Tx Eclipse, Houston Power and I would have to include Tx Glory Shelton and Adkins.
Yes, some of these teams will most likely make it back to Gold Nationals, and I would have to give the nod to Tx Blaze Gold, Tx Magic, Eclispse, Storm Demarini and both Glory Shelton and Adkins. I would think Tx Express has a chance at Regionals.
This past weekend Tx Impact and Power qualified in Marrietta with Impact taking the Loser's bracket and Power going 4 and 0. Congratulations to both of these Texas teams for qualifying. Tx Blaze came close losing to Impact and several teams fell a little short, Storm, Glory Shelton and Adkins and Eclipse.

Congratulations Fusion! That looked like a tough road, way to fight through the losers bracket two years in a row for a berth. I think that shows your kids have incredible perserverance and fight.
