12U fastest teams

I would agree as well with Kaos having alot of quick players as well as being just a flat out agressive base running team.

Texas Kaos 96 - Built for speed
Texas Kaos 95 - several fast runners
Texas Kaos 97 - Shortstop was fast down the line, not a whole lot after that
Texas Ice 96 - Several fast runners
FB Thunder - Shortstop has some wheels on her
Texas Crush - has several fast runners
Red Hots - used to have some quick players, have not seen them play since the fall

Wouldnt the fastest team have the fastest players????????

Team A has batters 1-7 who are all 2.9s 3rd to home
Team B has a leadoff hitter who is 2.25s 3rd to home
Team C has a girl who is 2.27s 3rd to home
The rest of B/C are 3.5 or slower.

Team B and C have the fastest players, but I'd still consider team A the faster team.

I suppose I did kind of word my question pretty badly. Sorry for the confusion all.

Please a 12 YO running a 2.25 - 20 yard ; next your going to tell us that she is running sub 4.4 - 40 thats about what you would be running at that speed.

We have 2 girls that run sub 3 off the bat. No where near 2.25 (2.9 on a good day). It's probably not unheard of for a girl that young to at least be in the neighborhood.

We have girls that are sub three also but when you say 2.5 you are talking about someone like Natasha Watley. There are no 12yo running 2.5 20's. I know we are talking hundreths of sec. but that is huge, when your talking 20 yard and 40 yard sprints.

I have to agree with abra. on this. Not many girls this young under at least 2.9.I know of 2 girls that are 2.6 and 2.68 from the right side.They are incredible ball players. Haven't seen many stand out like they do and it would seem to me that any player that fast would be a stand out!! As far as team speed, I would think you would have to have a team average of 2.9 to be a called the fastest team. i don't think any of these teams mentioned on this post truly qualify

Hittinghard, the Ice have 3 maybe 4 players with decent speed. Thats just about what most all the teams have

I think we come up short when it comes to complete speedy teams!!!

I didn't really have anyone in mind. Most teams have at least 1 girl that they consider fast. I just always hear about how this kid is "so fast" and then I watch them and it's more average than anything. I figured I'd hit this board up for teams with speed in general so I can keep an eye out next time we're in the same park on the same weekend.
