Watch out for those Razorbacks this year.

it is very rare that you can teach spin at a later age. if they throw that hard they usually throw it through the break. good luck as most fastball pitchers get killed against good teams.

Fortunately for Arkansas, it will bring help to McLemore.

Unfortunately for Arkansas, they will still be average. The SEC is too tough for one person to turn a program. No CWS in sight for the Hogs.

Your an idiot....if you have never seen her, then you have not been around as much as you say. Played against her years and years ago first in the RMD when she played for the Diamond Dusters, and I think they won it that year. I could have missed it, but I dont think anyone said she threw 80.

When has going to school in Texas been the measuring stick.... I believe they both are full with pitchers...If you can get into Arkansas, they you can get into anywhere.

By the way, Arkansas is in the SEC.....do I need to explain more the the slow people..

A similar case could be made for/against Ryan Mallet. The last time I looked, he hasn't done too bad for the hogs. Arkansas will always have a chance by being in the SEC. Now whether or not they capitalize on it, is to be seen.

NoSkills is just missing the picture a bit. There's definitely nothing wrong with Arkansas and they probably have the best facility in the nation. Playing for the Hogs and against some of the best competition out there, it doesn't seem like a stupid decision to me. Why did the awesome Mineau go to Fordham? Kids choose schools for their own reasons.

Funny how people get worked up when somebody says a pitcher throws 70 mph...? Some very good points were made about pitchers... can she spin it, throwing thru the break, etc. There is more than one way to skin a cat, but let's not miss the point. This young lady is going to play softball at a major university (SEC) and get a quality education I'm sure. Be happy for her and keep it positive.

I first meet her @ 10-u. Ole Mark and Bart (Diamond Dusters)used to carry a laminated copy of her birth certificate. She is a great kid! Arkansas is a great school!

BTW. A few pretty good Texas kids have committed to Arkansas. The Facilities are real nice.
