There are a lot of good teams in the mix this year. The five teams above should always be in the hunt and I think Storm Elite will be there as well. What about Power? Nobody so far is giving them any props for this one.

SBRocks, I thought about Power but I have only seen them at RM; still had work to do then but I haven't seen them since. I guess it's going to boil down to the brackets; I liked the seeded tourney in Deer Park seemed to keep everything spread out but we'll play whom ever we draw with no excuses.

I've heard good things about Cenla Heat. Do you think they will be the best 99 team or make a push to get some hardware?

Brackets are out, at first glance looks like Rage and Smash should make a good run unless they are shocked by one of the 99's. Storm Elite 98 vs Panthers(game 12), TPS vs Force(game 13) look to duke it out early. Good luck to all!

Met alot of good people this fall, teams and parents so I don't want to talk trash or be a jerk.

But I will say this, Smash will be ready!

After seeing them in the RM I would say you are correct. It will be difficult to beat them. But I will go with Force to have a good one with Rage being close. Tps will be close if they can tighten up on defense and hit the ball better.

I hope the Force will show good in this one I see about 10 teams in the hunt, any of which would not surprise me if they won it. The format is going to put some really good teams in the losers bracket early. I think the team that is firing on all cylinders this weekend will take it. I don’t know if others are facing basketball tournaments & injuries but it’s definitely that time of year. Good luck to everyone!

Yes, a couple of the top 10 from the coaches poll could end up in the loser's bracket real quick. Then you find out how deep your pitching is.

Most of us are suffering from Jr. high sports and of course injuries always seem to pop up. The depths of the teams will also be tested along with the desire of the team to perform well.

We will test how smart we are from who we voted on in the coaches poll. Then start fresh in the spring after try outs and players coming and going from the teams.

But first we have this one to play. As Nike once said "lets just do it"
