xx -You get to write a $90 check for the season. (ah, the good ole days..) 8-) 8-)

xx -DD's hitting coach and "So & So's Dad" are the same person

xx -Part of your team name is **GSA :) :)

xx -The coach's dd hits 3rd and plays SS when she isn't pitching. (*sometimes this still happens, but not nearly as often).

You log onto HeyBucket and your first post is asking the idiots on here what the top teams in DFW are instead of doing your own research.

Well for those of you that think 10 & 12U are life and death years for college I lmao. B ball A ball it doesn't matter. At this age its about getting out there and playing. My oldest played Div. 1. 2A ball for UT San Antonio, Southland Conf.. There were a few on the team i was told never played A ball. Or started late and still were incredible players.

She played A from sec yr 10's to 3 yrs of 18 gold, and yes it made her a very strong player. One thing i think about, a lot is out of the Deer park 10u team we had (before TPS ) We won Reg. 7 and went to ASA nat. in Chattanooga. We had 12 players and we played 120 games from Aug. to Aug.. Most of our girls kept playing but some burnt out so bad they quit or played something else. My DD got hurt and sat out the first yr of 12U Summer and it was the best thing. She came back wanting to play again. She was also a above averg. Volleyball palyer and played club for a few yrs..

I have always said that High school is for school spirit and A is for recruiting. If thats the route you want to go. But some lady's just want to play and have fun

Remember not every player will stay with Softball, And let them grow into the athlete they want to be. If it's B ball and Club volleyball so be it. DON'T make fun because one day your DD may come to you and say DAD, Mom I don't want to play ball anymore.

So let them have fun.

One last thing... Grades Grades Grades or it's Juco

Usually a not a good team when they fit one of these criteria..

Socks -Are pok-a-dots, stripes or zebras
Shoe Strings -Are colors (Pink, orange, green that doesn't match uniform)
Uniform - Florescent Orange, Green, Pink, or Yellow

Your DD finally figures out that softball is not for her (Dad is crushed) and she watches her friends play gold ball as they go on to play in college, meanwhile, your DD decides to apply herself Academically and gets an academic scholarship, gets her masters and now makes 5 times the amount her softball buddies are now making as a Junior High techer/coach when their playing days are over. mmmm......
