We have personally invited all the top SoCal teams (10U, 12U and non dark 14U)... and most have already confirmed!!!

Can someone explain what non dark 14U means?

14u would be comprised of '95 B-days (HS Freshman) and '96 B-days (8th graders). Freshman do not play travelball during the HS season so they "go dark" during that time period. They then come back and kick the butts of all the 8th graders that thought they were all that. :P :P :P :P

   Thanks... thought it was gonna go down that other road for a sec...

Why do some people (it seems to always be the same people) instantly start to bash someone who tries something new? Maybe these naysayers are jealous, or afraid to go outside of their own comfort zone. So... as soon as someone else does it, they jump on them.

I think it is great that this team wants to go to Cali to play the game they love. It gives them something to train for over the winter, it will make them better in the long run and frankly I wish our team was doing it. If they get beat...so what. It is still a life experience that the girls and their families will remember for a long time. You will only get better if you have stretch goals.

What is the alternative, play the same old teams you always play in Mesquite or Mansfield?

I say way to go Team Mizuno and Best of Luck. :)

Kudos to Team Mizuno. Nothing wrong with wanting to play the best. Sounds like sour grapes coming from the nay sayers. You'll find the best in so cal as you already know having lived here prior. Btw, i live about 5 miles from where you used to live.....why the hell would you leave here for humid, obese Texas :?:
