Couple thoughts on that...
#1 - My point was I'm not sure I'm buying how much "instruction" those players are or will be doing - more like a name to a "business" or camp. For example Michael Jordan use to "host" basketball camps all over the country and show up and make an appearance one of the five days. Not like he did much instructing.
#2 - While I have ZERO doubt those folks know how to play the game and know the game - knowing and teaching are two TOTALLY different things. One of my biggest complaints about some organizations and even colleges is that they hire these former stars to "coach" but they have a lack of ability to do just that - teach and coach. Not everyone can be a teacher/coach - just like not everyone can be a doctor.
I'm not saying this is bad - I'm just saying that NO I wouldn't immediately jump my daughter over to play for this organization just because these former star softball players have "joined forces".
